ALOT I mean ALOT more Discipline!!!!!

Respect for coaches from parents and players. A belief in the program by all parties (coaches, parents, players and fans). Discipline...agreed.

I agree. According to last years roster, we graduated 18 seniors. Who will be filling those spots this year?

So they are lacking discipline, no body believes in the team? Wow....that is hard to swallow. Do they need a change in coaching staff or head coach?

Coaching staff has talent and dedication. There is such a negativity in the stands during games, I can see why the kids have a difficult time "buying in.". The DC has been with the program of 9 yrs (don't quote me on that) and always seems to do a lot with the defense. When people, fans and/or parents are not behind the team, it's hard to see success: no matter talent or numbers.

Just left spring game and numbers are extremely low for a school of this size.

According to the winchester Sun:

The Cards began spring drills on March 16 and had 45 players in attendance for the opening session.

“It’s been good,” Columbia said. “We got about eight or nine (players) playing baseball and two or three running track. When you put it all together, the number of guys we have is around 55 or so. I feel pretty good about the numbers. It’s good to be back in that area.”

In my honest opinion I think Coach Columbia is a great coach of fundamentals and aspects of the game, but when it comes to play calling he should probably let someone else take control of that, I recall a game 2 seasons ago where GRC had a 14 point advantage over Tates Creek with around 3 minutes left in the game and Columbia was throwing the ball, needless to say Tates Creek gets an interception and a punt return for touchdown and go on to win the game. Thats when someone needs to step in and say whoa!!!

Looks like Clark County needs another game. The game with Scott County on September 25 appears to have been removed; Scott was also scheduled to play Madison Central.

Clark has open dates on August 28 and September 25. From my information, there are no other teams with open dates looking for games on Aug. 28. It would appear that North Hardin Christian has an opening on Sept. 25, but that might just be an imcomplete schedule. GRC may just have nine games this season.

Now it appears that the Clark County/Scott County game is back on for September 25. GRC won't be looking for the tenth game after all. How very confusing!
