I believe this is one of the main reasons that Greenup sees such a drop off in talent from the freshman to JV/Varsity level of play. It is all about what happens in the off season. They are headed in the right direction now, with the focus on a strength and conditioning assistant and new lifting facilities. The new coach, when selected, will need to hit the ground running!

Good luck in the selection of a new coach. It is always tough to go through this type of change.

Regardless of the cost comparisons, an effort should of been made to scale back the cost of the inauguration.

Possibly... Copley was a defensive coach with Pikeville before he was made head coach. I also heard he played a big role in improving their weightlifting program.

Are we talking about Mike Copley from Pikeville? Didn't he just take their head coach position last year?

We homeschooled our son for a year between elementary school and middle school. His test scores went up dramatically over just one grade year. If there had been an opportunity to participate in extra-curriculer activities, we may have been more inclined to continue the program. I like the idea of having the student attend 2 classes at the school. The school would be able to monitor the situation somewhat, and the student would have to follow the other school regulations.

Have to say I only really enjoy the first half of the season. Something about people humiliating themselves. Like a carwreck you can't not look!
