That is certainly me!!!! The boys leave this afternoon on the bus for Bell County. We are very proud of this team and everything they have done this year. Seniors: Play your hearts out, have fun, and best of luck to you all in the future.

Musketeers, we can't turn the ball over continuously and expect to win ball games! Mason County did a good job capitalizing on our mistakes. Subtract the turnovers from the score and this might have had a different outcome. Congratulations to Mason County and best wishes to them on the rest of their season. My prayers will be with your injured player.

I agree! The team is fired up. We had a great Defensive practice on Tuesday. I am sure the seniors will want to leave everything they have on the Field Friday night, their last time on the home field!

Just ask East Carter, which had their Senior Night spoiled by Carter & Company as Greenup County rolled to a 38-8 victory over the Raiders on Friday night. Carter, playing despite a high-ankle sprain sustained three weeks ago against Lawrence County, ran for 173 yards on just 18 carries, finding the end zone twice. Carter’s backfield partner, Corey Lyle, added 115 yards on 18 carries of his own, including a score. This one felt great. (it has been a long dry spell!) The boys were fired up and it made the difference.

We had a great meeting with Coach last night. The boys are pumped and despite all the injuries we will show up, play hard, and walk away winners!

Not sure. Apparently we will not know the answer until gametime.

There will be plenty of "true fans" at the game on Friday. (Rain or shine) These are the same ones who work behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly. They support Copley and this team. They understand that change takes time. They also know that negativity just breeds more negativity. From what I understand, we had one parent go over the edge on that "other site" and made some damaging comments. The majority of us do not support the thoughts, attitude, or actions of this one parent. I do though understand the frustration and have great respect for all they have done for the team. The boys are still positive and are getting a little more rest this week with school being closed today and tomorrow. They will be ready for East Carter.

Neither rain or snow will keep me from my appointed rounds....
