This one was definately a heartbreaker. Greenup led the game until the very end. Rowan scored to take the lead with less than 2 minutes left on the clock. We had this one and it slipped away from us... There is probably going to be alot of talk about the bad calls made by the refs, the delay of game penalties, etc. The boys played their hearts out. They left it all on the field, blood, sweat and, yes, even tears. We are better than we played tonight, We are better than so many thought we would be.... Keep your heads up boys, We are proud of you. We need to look forward to next week. Fix what needs fixing and keep improving. Fans were great tonight. We were loud! Don't start fingerpointing. As coach said on the field, We win as a Family and we lose as a Family. All for One and One for All.

Good luck tonight Rams. Play Hard. May both teams stay injury free and Ram Fans travel safe!

We will still be feeding the boys their usual meal (even though they do not have school on Friday due to Fall break.) We will also be tailgaiting as usual. I missed the meeting tonight (I have the flu) so am not sure what is on the tailgate menu. But I am sure it will be something deepfried and very warm!

The boys continue to practice hard and make the needed adjustments. It looks like Friday will be cold and rainy---let's stay warm by getting LOUD!

I think Raceland will win this one, but never overlook a down team. Prepare, practice and take care of business. Don't ever let up!

True Football Weather has arrived! Go out and work hard again today Musketeers. Focus, adjust, grow, believe, and everything will fall into place on Friday night.

:thumb: I am hoping that a large group of Fans will come to the game and GET LOUD!!! We need to be the 12th man on Defense. I was dissapointed at the number of fans sitting on their hands during Friday's game. If I don't wake up hoarse on Saturday morning we didn't play football.

I admit this will be a tough one. Greenup has some work to do on defense. I think they will do that work this week and win on Friday.

Congrats to the Tomcats!

I don't kniow where to start... First of all Congratulations to Rashard Carter who broke the single game rushing record tonight. The offensive line really stepped up and after the game Coach noted that they had done a great job. With that being said, we have to get better defending the pass. Coal Grove got deep on us to many times. Terry Waugh did a good job in his first appearance as QB and will only get better as he settles in to this new position. Greenup played hard and never quit. We don't have any reason to get down. Just get to work this week and prepare for the beginning of your real season next Friday night.

Sidelinedoc, that is how we have raised our boys. If you start something you finish it. Period! When things are tough, you don't bail, you push through. You are right that there seems to be a lot of kids (I think parents) that don't have this same mentality. I also think Loyalty should mean something. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence!
