I agree, Graybeard. They are the ones we never hear about, they don't get their pictures in the paper or get talked about on BGP. They are the unsung heroes!

The line has continued to improve each week. Copley reviews the game film and each player is given a play-by-play analysis of their position on Monday. Each player can see what they did on each down and what they need to work on to improve. They are also given a comprehensive "grade" (percentage) for their performance. These grades have continued to improve both individually and as a whole. Keep up the good work Musketeers, the future is in your hands. :ylsuper:

Greenup County is building up a head of steam with a 2 game winning streak. This game is at home and Coach has had an extra week to prepare the team. The boys have been improving each week. This one is yours Musketeers - go out and get it done!

Great News Coupon! With the boys off this week, I have missed talking Greenup Football. Do you (or anyone) know if the JV Game on Monday against Wheelersburg is Home or Away?

Ram summed up my thougths on this perfectly. I use "we" when referring to Greenup but don't use it for college level or Pro teams for which I am a Fan.

I think it will be a turning point for Raceland. Best Wishes tonight go out and claim what is yours!

Raceland gets back on track this week and beats East Carter.

The players last night who were varsity players, are as Coach Copley said, first year varsity players. Many of them "share" positions and do not play every series on Friday night. I can't speak for the Coach but I am sure he just wants them to get better, and that is what JV games are for, to get players more experienced in game situations. As the season goes on fewer of them will play JV as they earn and keep their Varsity positions.

Not sure what the rules are regarding seniors playing JV. There may have been one player on the field who was a senior. He does not start or play in varsity games.

Sidelinedoc, I agree that calling your office and leaving messages is going to far. You have always been respectful to GC, and have supported Greenup in a variety of ways. This was a key win for Greenup against a very tough rival and some have let their emotions (and better sense) get away from them.

A win deserves a "good job" comment, IMO. I am not saying that Greenup doesn't need to work on things. Pass coverage, mental mistakes, etc. these things will improve with time and effort.

Another great job by the Musketeers. They continue to improve each week.

OK I get it, no insult intended, I really do wish the best for you guys.

Keep you heads up RAMS. Greenup has been where you are at and one thing you have to do is keep believing. Parents/Fans/Players all supporting the team and coaches will make the difference, along with hard work and determination. Best of luck on the rest of your season.

Still pumped about this one! The boys were tired but had big grins on their faces at this mornings pancake breakfast. A special thanks to all our fans and the coaching staff.
