Agree! Defense wins ballgames. Our defense was better earlier in the season and now they have fallen apart. It looks as if the fire and determination has gone out of this team... Turnovers, missed assignments, bad playcalling, etc. has taken its toll. I hate it for the boys, they have had a tough year, new coaching staff, learning a new offensive system, the death of a teamate and QB, the loss of another QB, kids quitting, kids coming back and quitting again, injuries...This team has faced so many obstacles. NOW is the time for the leaders to STEP up and get the team FIRED up! Come together again, play with some fire and determination, HIT SOMEBODY!, BLOCK! BELIEVE! End the season with the same attitude you started...

Congratulations to the Bulldogs! You are close to completing an amazing season! Prayers also going out to the hurt Rowan County player.

He won't get the start but will play some of the downs.

Greenup has had girls on some of our JFL teams over the years. Destiny Jones was an excellent player for Wurtland. I believe she stopped playing in 6th grade.

The boys have been practicing hard. They have put last weeks' heartbreaking loss behind them. Coach buried the Rowan county game film on the practice field Monday afternoon. They are Focused and Ready to handle whatever the bulldogs throw at them!

Come on Greenup, get Focused, this is your time to shine, it is your field, your homecoming, get out there and get it done!
