:popcorn: If it wasn't for daughter with SK I would not miss this one. SK has played both and I would "coin toss" this one. HHS has had two rough jolts to end the season with SK and NCC.

:clap: Dittos! As a coach I believe I would pack my schedule with the strongest games I could find and help my players face the quality that will make the team better if a blind draw is the option I face. Wouldn't are about the W / L.

Don't have exact stats but WV jumped out to an 8-0 lead and won 1st qtr by 1. Smith got in some early foul trouble. Then the "shelling" started and that was all she wrote! Tolliver big night! She seemed to be everywhere the ball was for 3 1/2 quarters. Wainscott had a real good night and Ponzer went 90 mph for 3 1/2 quarters.

The two times I watched NCC - SK they were the most physical team SK had played since the Lex. Cath. Tourney. More physical than the two HIGH - SK matchups. (IMO) Close game...HIGH by 3.

One point at the 1/2 last time as I recall. All SK chambers loaded could be tough for WV to remain close. However, it is a funny time of year. Take care of business SK. SK by a dozen.

Anyone have insight on Moss for the future of her HS time? I saw something about POY in an earlier comment and understand the D1 comment and I would like to add that "IF" SK gets back to S16 and "IF" Tolliver breaks Male / Female scoring record at SK and "IF" (this is an optional "IF" because I do not think it matters) she signs D1 there should be no question about POY in NKY this year. Tolliver (IMO) :jump: Great student, athlete and person! They all are!

It has been a true pleasure over the last several years to be associated with Candace and her family. Not many "Rootstown Rovers" who double as "Steelers Fans" that I enjoy meeting!!!!! I'll toss in Simon Kenton's Kayla Morganfrom NKY. Signed with Pikeville recently great season on the mound and at the plate last season.

Highlands-NDA-NCC, any one of these three I believe will come out on top and I cannot be more specific since this is a gauntlet! :eek: Boone and Ryle can cause an upset in the process but IMO not enough to surface on top. The five best basketball games I saw this year were these three teams against SK. SK finished 3-2 with one loss being a 2 pt drop to NDA. Too much talent on those three teams for anyone else to win it. Maybe an upset in the process but one of these three will win it. I hope I get to see a game or two when not at S. Oldham watching SK.

Wow! Had to sit there and take that one in for a moment when it was over! Some really good defensive play on both sides. :ohbrother:

"Class ACT" says it all. I am so happy that my daughter has had the oppertunity to play with them. If she turns out to be as great a student, player, and more importantly "person" on and off the court as these ladies, I will be a very pleased father!!! :thumb:

Defend Tibbs and the team is very one-dimensional. They IMO have to rely on someone else having a big night. Saw the same thing in the SK game. This night no one else had that game. Hats off to Villa!

They still have had good players there. Winters and Moss are two talanted big girls that are no lnger there. Something just feels funny about the program. Gray MS is one of the feeders and they are always players at the MS level?

In addition, I believe most of that 13 was from the free-throw line for Tibbs. I think Brown is running 11-12-17 off the bench against HIGHLANDS-CAMPBELL-SCOTT. I am biased but SK gives two different looks that teams must contend with now that she is back. Tolliver? What can you say that hasn't already been said?

I am biased as well and have seen all of them play. As of halftime on 1/12/09 Simon Kenton @ Notre Dame, I will submit Nikki Brown at Simon Kenton. She was out since 10/8 with shoulder surgery, released that day to play. She played the second half of JV and I believe the entire second half of the VAR game. What a different team that is when she is on the floor. I believe she was a key in the subsequent victories against NCC and HIGHLANDS. Today she laid up 17 at SCOTT with three steals (?) and three others slapped away to teammates. Watch her play if you get a chance. With her coming in to support K. Smith, L / K Figgins and Ponzer at the 3-4-5 positions SK can fire wit the best. :idunno:
