Final. SK held Tibbs to only 13 points and 7 boards. Tolliver had 28 and Brown had 17 off the bench for the Pioneers. :banana:

In addition, I believe most of that 13 was from the free-throw line for Tibbs.

 

I think Brown is running 11-12-17 off the bench against HIGHLANDS-CAMPBELL-SCOTT. I am biased but SK gives two different looks that teams must contend with now that she is back.

I looked back as far as '98 on the KHSAA site and couldn't find an Pioneers game in which they scored more than 87 points.

Close game in the first half. SK 36 Scott 30. Simon is the real deal. They wore Scott down in the secong half. Simon rotated three post players on Tibbs the whole game. She has to play the whole game for Scott. They definately held her down, but it took double and triple teaming to do it. Tolliver is outstanding. She plays hard and can hurt you from long range or attacking the basket.

I don't know if it's a school record, but prior to coach Stowers arrival SK's program was struggling, so it's not suprising they hadn't posted that many points. The program during the late '80's and mid '90's was very strong, but I would have to drag out some of my yearbooks to see if they scored more.

I say once again Tolliver is the best player in N. KY.

 

Does she have any interested colleges? She has a complete game.

 

She seems to do whatever SK needs.

 

I saw her play last season and I thought she was the best player my daughter's team played aaginst. She has only gotten better.

On a side note there were 106 fouls called between the jv and varsity game. 46 in the varsity game and 60 in the jv game where 6 girls fouled out.

I was at the Walton Verona game last week but I don't remember seeing her, and what was the injury that kept her out of action ealier in the season?
