I think the greatest advantage to come from multiple scrimmages would be in position development. It could also help coaches decide on a starter in a particular position they may have had 2 or more good candidates for.

Mercer Co. could play spoiler in the playoffs. Coach Buchanan has this team peaking at the right moment. Granted they rolled through a weak district. The district they are paired against in the region isn't all that tough either. If they beat Knox Central in the second round, you could see them in the regional final. They have the ability to reach the semi's.

I think Cov Cath takes this one. Anderson Co. has some issues. Their starting line has seen several changes due to injury. I don' differentiate between O-line and D-line because the same players play both. Which, for a 5A school is an issue IMHO.

Cheating is cheating. Doesn't matter who does it. I don't see it as major infraction personally. Rules are rules, however.

Would you consider them cheaters if they were guilty of violating the bylaw?

It's not out of the question for them to be in the semi-final game. If it comes down to them vs Wayne Co. to come out of the region, they had a very good game with Wayne Co. this season. Score was 21-14 Wayne Co.

Unless Mercer can contain Israel, it will be a long night for them.

A. It wasn't the QB, it was one of the tailbacks, Ford if I remember correctly. B. Whistle never blew, lineman recovered fumble = TD C. That one play did not cost Russell the game. D. Merger = Get over it. They played in the class assigned to them by the KHSAA. Have a problem, take it up with the KHSAA.

In nearly 20 years of one side of the fence, (coach and parent) or the other, I have never seen an issue. Could it happen one day? Maybe. Then again, I could be struck by lighting too.

Needs to be left up to the individual coaches and their teams. I understand you are against it but why should your opinion be forced upon those coaches and teams that want to do it?

That's exactly the stadium I was thinking of. I doubt if it seats many more than 100. LOL The odd thing is, there is plenty of room to put more bleachers in.

It would be nice if all schools had a reasonable amount of seating for the visitors. Some schools have seating for 2500 on the home side and 100 for the visitors.

They have yet to prove this.
