Wayne looked pretty good tonight. I was looking for more from Hall, but did not get to see the back he was last year. Monroe on the other hand really impressed me with their young OL tonight. This team just needed to get that first varsity game under their belt with almost the entire offense being new to a varsity game. Great Game Falcons!!! And my hats off to Wayne to always being a real class act team that is one of our best games every year!!!:ylsuper:

I totally agree with SEMPERFIFALCON. The OL definately has to step up to bat and take charge of the the rhythm of the game. The backs will handle their own and Jackson will demand attention if he has time to make decisions.

I feel Monroe has there hands full with Wayne Co. If the falcons can't come together as a team and stop living off last season the Falcons could be up for a long season. Wayne Co. has a great program and have a super fast running back that is very exciting to watch...still this being said I am voting for Monroe in a nail biter. Monroe 20 Wayne 14

I will say Middlesboro by 14. Green will probably come out one dimensional as usual.

I have to go with the falcons! The 325 students enrolled leaves me a little wondering about a powerhouse team capable of stopping the probable 2a state repeat. I understand that that number is all boys, but still, we are talking about FC Falcons.

Only one problem with buring Green in all sports is that after last season beating them from Varsity to little league,( monroe co. grey team beat green co. in little league championships at metcalfe co), they won't play us in little league this year. So if the chance arises to compete again I will let you know. Go Falcons:laugh:

After looking at Fc's stats I would almost tend to agree with FalconBacker. I already feel that Fc is the team to beat in 2a, without a doubt! I wish the Falcons all the luck and our prayers are with the Falcons!

Best memories were playing in the perfect season untill meeting Mayfield at their house in the semi-state game in 89'. Where unfortunately they killed us like we were an eighth grade team. Worst memory is not playing my junior year because of...well just plain stupidity, and losing my starting position that I had worked on for two years previous. But I am glad in a way because I feel that John P. the now head coach of Monroe was a better QB anyway and he took us as far as we got.

FC has all the right ingredients for a great run at a third straight but they have to keep the qb healthy. I don't feel they are very deep at that one position. I hope I am wrong because they are turning out to be one of the historical teams in 2a like the Danville of old! I can't wait to see them play as well as hopefully get to play them at thier house instead of ours this year. Go Roe Go..the other Falcons of the south!!!

The season to begin!!! I have been watching the practices and I truly feel that all that Monroe needs to have another successful year is for the season to begin....WATCH OUT 2A!!!!!! Here comes the Falcons to a stadium near you!:dancingpa

The good thing about Danville having to get to Fc is that they have to go through Monroe Co. at home in the regionals this year. This helps Monroe I feel...and absolutely no one is ruling them out, I feel it is still a toss up between Bardstown, Danville, and Monroe for region...remember...just my opinion...:jump:

Heart!!! If Coach P can get the OL and DL to reach deep and find the heart of a true football player like the seniors last year they will be very competetive again this year. All other positions the heart is there, but only a few lineman have that true grid-iron attitude that it takes to be very successful...:ylsuper:
