I will have to say it is pretty much up to Green by how bad they want to beat the Hornets, after they Knocked them out in the playoffs last year!! I agree with SEMPERFIFALCON, by however many they choose..not even really a chance for Metcalfe.

Very true!!! I think I follow our district pretty well and I'm pretty sure I said Green 52 Taylor 20...Guess I was giving Taylor more of a shot than they showed tonight. It is Bad that Taylor's only two losses came from our district 2a.

That sounds to me like Green did not call off the Dogs!!

IMO I feel the Falcons can handle Greenwood this year if they bring thier A game. It will take both sides of the ball to handle the tempo and set the pace for the falcons...should be a real test for the falcons friday night!!!! Go Roe Go!!!!! Monroe 35 Greenwood 27

It's great to see a really good athlete stay in-state at our schools...congradulations to him and his family...look forward to seeing him at western!!!

Falcons looked really good last night with great diversity on the offense scheme. The Hornets played well out of the gates but just could not contain Monroe's air assult...Harlan looked really good with his passes and the offense line is great this year. Monroe's running backs are for real this year with caleb maxey running the ball hard. He put up some imressive numbers as he struck hard and fast through Metcalfe. Tanner Kendall is running the ball equally as well with only being a sophmore...they are really deep at backs with sophmore Dillion Vickery ground and pounding for every yard for the JV!!! Great job Falcons on 5-0...

Monroe is looking good, Metcalfe might have get more than they bargain for with this team...Go Roe!!!

Great game, there was a couple simple mistakes that could have turned into more scoring possiblities but all in all the falcons moved the ball well. I would like to see them open the air assult more with quick hitting passes. The short passes were there all night because barren was trying to shut down the run game.. They played well off the receivers to stop the run...great job falcons, really good diversity in the offense scheme!!!

I agree with different venues...we all should travel willingly to support our teams...no matter what the distance!

I agree that coaches should be able to take comments at will and not at heart.. thick skin comes with coaching...if you have never set foot on the field to lead and teach our youth about sports then you are an arm chair..if you have then you know that you never look into the stands and you certainly don't listen to the jibberjabber of the fans and parents...god bless our coaches that give up many hours of their time to do a great thing for very little pay and at times even less respect...

Monroe had a good showing at Warren Central tonight with a win 8 to 6. Monroe had one player Jacob London go to the hospital with a chipped and dislocated elbow. Return for Friday is questionable! Overall I think Monroe looks good for the sky conference championship. 3 and 0 so far..keep it up Falcons!!!
