  1. Great ballgame from start to finish. I have to give thanks to wayne, they are a real class act from their players, coaches, fans and community. We always have a good game when we go to wayne and the community is always courteous...thank you!!! Good luck Wayne in the playoffs!!!:thumb:
  2. Wow...i guess this answers the question who can beat FC...
  3. Monroe County Falcons send their prayers for the family and the organization. You are in our thoughts and our hearts!
  4. I have to support our district!! Green over Marion 28 to 21 Go Dragons....:thumb:
  5. Monroe 32 Wayne 20 Monroe wins over Wayne through the air. I don't feel Wayne can stop Monroe's air attack. Monroe has a solid defense and will be able to handle Wayne's backfield...If they come out gunning it may change the outcome considerably...Falcon secondary has to really step up and take control of the pass. They can't allow the 10 to 15 yard pass to walk down the field! Go Roe Go!!!
  6. The Falcons looked really good tonight with Caleb Maxey showing that he can run the ball at college level. I hope he goes and plays somewhere...Justin Harlin is really composed when rolling out for the pass and the option. And I can't say enough about Neil Wilson, this kid is all over the field..and finally it seems we have someone that can deliver a good kickoff kick! Monroe's offensive line is doing wonderful on both sides of the ball...it looks good for a good playoff run...GO ROE GO!!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa
  7. Scribe...Thanks for the run-down! I agree with SEMPERFIFALCON about Fort Knox coming to town...Can't wait till opening kick off. In the playoffs you can't rule out any team just ask green last year about metcalfe! I am quite sure that Green has really opened there eyes and are focused at this point, I am just not sure with Rogers out that they are as bad a threat as they were with him, anyway I truly look forward to a great playoff this year...and would love to hear the announcer call the game for both Falcons!!!FC and Monroe...would be a very interesting night to say the least!
  8. Also, not all injuries are the players fault...another player taking a play off is a liable contributor. I hate to even say but not every kid out there is there for the right reason, or the mosst able body to play the position. Luck Skill Conditioning Attitude Desire All play an important roll in sports!
  9. I agree...John has taken a team that went 2-8 last year to District champs 7-1...He has turned a stail mate program into one that all can be excited about!!! Returning almost everyone with a diferent attitude and gleam in their eye....Go Falcons!:dancingpa
  10. I would love to say someone in region 2, but realistically FC looks great for another state title. My honest opinion would be NCC.. See everyone in the playoffs!!!
  11. I will go with Monroe over Allen 35-22 I feel Monroe can stop Allen's ground attack and take care of the air with good secondary coverage. Monroe's offense is really on a roll with the backfield being very deep and the air game looking better every game. I hope to see more of the great diversity in the play calling as well as some more hands touching the ball, getting the younger power ready for a great playoff run!! Keep up the good work Falcons and you should go far this year.:ylsuper:
  12. Hey friend. I looked for you after the game but didn't get to you before you went into the locker room. I feel both teams played very well and agree that out of 10 its 5-5. I just truly hope we play each other again in the play-offs....just keep them Dragons rolling over teams for our District!!!Maybe we will see you at the little league playoffs next saturday!! Good Luck!!!
  13. I have to go with the experience. No disrespect Frankfort Fans but in the past good linemen with experience wins football games. This sounds like this is gonna be one to listen to...can't go will be home this week!!!Good luck to all. D-21 F-13
  14. I absolutely agree with this statement!!! Monroe gets Knox first round and we've got many years payback coming their way!
  15. Very true we should have a very good end of season run with no cush teams. They can hold there own, should be great end of season!!!!
  16. Looks great to me!!!!!Can't wait till Knox comes to town! GO ROE GO!!!!
  17. What a game!!!! If you missed this one you missed a great high school football game! Non Stop action...Monroe looked great even with a few to many turnovers. IMO Green did suffer from Rogers being out but in turn we also had Hamilton out...Both starting tail backs. We ran the ball extremely well. I have to give a shout out to Caleb Maxey tonight, this kid runs with all he's got. He truly epitomizes the high school tailback position. Great job Caleb!!! I feel Monroe and Green represented our district very well tonight with a very hard fought battle from the go!! Great job Falcons!!!:ylsuper: I also feel I need to take a second a recognize the lines...Monroe Quarterback Justin Harlan had all night to throw the ball...He was never even close to getting touched in the back field...AWESOME job in the trenches!!!!
  18. I would have to say Definately! The Falcons throw as much as they run and we are facing a true run team tonight...I hope the rain lets up at game time because this may play in our favor if it does. If it does not we could be in for a long night!!! Fans don't let the rain stop you, just break out the wet weather gear and enjoy some great football at its purest form! :dancingpa
  19. He is very aware that he is not Danville. The bragging rights is between Green and Monroe that are in the same district...District Championship Game. Our schools are not worried about Danville!
  20. Danville 42 Washington 21 Danville wins with better defense. They've allowed less points scored on them to date than Washington Co.:ylsuper:
  21. Hey EndzoneEyeCam, not to think that Green is completely one dimentional I feel you guys can at will throw the ball. I also realize that so far you have not needed to but remember... you play better when you practice what you preach. We on the other hand have a good running game as well as a good passing game showing you never know whats coming your way. I hope our coaching staff does not totally rely on what you guys have showed so far...which is run, run, run! I am looking forward to a great game between us and I hope everyone in the state realizes that these two teams are for real, not to be taken lightly and definately not to be overlooked!!! I truly feel that both our schools represent our district well and can carry our heads up high when we play up out of our class. This game is being highly anticipated across KY. I feel like I am back in high school again waiting for that friday game. This is what high school football is all about, the excitement for the fans and the teams. I wish you all good luck and I hope it doesn't come a gully washer friday night on us...see you at the game...winner gets bragging rights...ok!!! And I am not sitting behind that big old tree..ha.ha...right on the fifty with all those green colors, proudly wearing my Navy Blue!!!!
  22. Hello, Green County and Monroe County Fans... endzoneeyecam may be in for a culture shock when the Falcons roll into Greensburg friday night...this is going to be the game of the year for friday night lights!!!! IMO The falcons 42 Green county Dragons 35... But....there is always a but...giving rain....it may well change that to a lower score and the falcons do throw the ball a whole lot...but again...Monroe can run the ball as well even with our starting running back out...we are very deep at that position if you care to look at our stats...not one dimentional with only two power backs like Green..but spreading the wealth among many!!! That being said guys hope to see everyone there because it may turn out to be one for the record books!!! Good luck to both teams and may God keep everyone safe!!!
