In the eyes of everyone down here, I agree with SEMPERFIFALCON!!It seems this is turning into a huge rival game worthy of mentioning.

As SEMPERFIFALCON stated: Monroe has Bar-B-Que that people travel hours to eat! When you get ready to come to us just PM and any of us will give you directions to some of the best locally owned eateries in the county. All of which are family owned and operated and would love for you to take some back to your home towns to tell everyone about our little place on the map!! As for football, if you play us you better be at the field early or it might get crowded at Darrel Carter Stadium. Monroe has a huge fan base, basically the entire community gets behind our Falcons, we live through our children now and support them to no end. But everyone we welcome, just ask anyone about Monroe's hospitality!!!

If you want to see two towns turn out for a football game it will be Monroe and Green Friday night. Monroe has a good stadium but I feel it will be standing room only! Congrats to the Dragons, we are looking forward to hosting you next week!

No harm in picking Monroe. The Falcons are playing very well in the post season. It seems they are running on all cylinders and will not have any trouble with Green even though Green is also playing very well after the loss to Monroe earlier in the season. If Monroe executes properly I will say Monroe by 21.:thumb: Go Roe Go!!!

Good job Falcons! I hope we get a chance to host you all in two weeks for a Falcon on Falcon called game! I hope you guys really put it on OC. We will do our best to put away Green.:thumb:

Hearsay, I am sorry your day didn't turn out quite as planned. It was great to get to chat with you about other teams this year, and OMG about the dog! I hope it didn't hurt your vehicle to bad, I would hate you to take memories of Monroe County by your incidents on the trip...Come Back Down soon! I am just glad that you all got home safe!!!

If you could bear the cold it was pretty much one sided. Thanks to Bardstown fans that made the 2+ hour trip to our little place in the Universe down hear in Monroe County. It was an awesome performance by the Falcons, I can't say enough about Monroe's offensive and defensive lines! They are fired up and are executing thier jobs wonderfully! Monroe is very deep this year at almost all positions on the field, Coach Petett showed everyone that he is ready for a long playoff run!!! Great play calling, not to diverse, just what he needed to put this one away...Congrats John!!! Now lets get ready for a very tough Dragon team that is going to bring a whole county of fans with them to revenge their season loss to Monroe...If you are anywhere around Monroe County Friday night I would highly recommend that you attend an awesome game that has all the signs of a brutal rematch!!!! Absolutely true...my wife loves them and I can eat them once a year! It takes that long to clear my arteries!!!!:dancingpa

Monroe has a lot of history in the community. You can go see the Old Mulkey Meeting house where Daniel Boones sister Sarah is buried, or you can go see the last of the KY ferries across the Cumberland river. We have a great tradition of Bar-B-Que joints in Monroe including...Frances, Back yard, Chicken Wangs, Collins, or R&S. Gamaliel also has a great little Diner called Judy's Diner that serves the best Rib eye steaks with seasoning in the area. We also have a great interesting burger joint called Dovies. You will never eat anything like it anywhere I promise! But it closes at four. :thumb:

This should be interesting with Monroe having home field but you can't rule out Bardstown. I feel they could easily be overlooked by their record losing four games by a very little margin.

Danville over Green. A much as I would love to see Green come to Monroe for the region I will have to go with coach Harp's experience and speed.

Exactly! look around 2a at the scores and it shows the teams that have it this season and the ones that do not. New playoff zoning. gives everyone a chance, if your good you get a easy start to the playoffs...and if you havenot done as well you get the chance for a big upset! Either way almost everyone plays...good for KY high school ball!!!!!:thumb:

That is the new playoff direction. When you have 0-10 teams getting in you get teams out of the woodwork...its good for long seasons and revenue for the winning programs that host!

I am looking forward to Danville and Green. This should be a real good game, the dragons are hungry again and looking for a little redemption after last year falling a little short to metcalfe. I have to admit that Coach Harp's playoff record is really impressive to me. He knows how to go deep every year even when his talent is not as good as others...the test of a great coach!

I guess that was a stupid question on my part. It is obvious that he is according to the score...It looks like FC is back on track and running on all cylinders again! Good Job Falcons:thumb:
