  1. Neil Wilson is a great kid. He has all the makings of a Division one athlete on both sides of the ball, and has a younger brother that starts at tight end as a true freshman. The Wilson's should be very proud to have turned out two really good athletes and really good young men that are an asset to this football team as well as to the community!!:thumb:
  2. Thats really a sad situation for these kids, I remember when Fort Knox was a dominant 2a power much like FC now.
  3. Wow, hate to hear Bardstown is having trouble, with Danville being down again this year looks like region play may be interesting!
  4. Not to knock NKY, but it just seems to me that us southern ky teams do not get much respect in this great state. I mean BG is a huge powerhouse with a great program, and Fort Cambell is another! I guess I am just venting about being in the south part of the state and getting overlooked a lot.
  5. I felt this was going to be close, honestly thought that green would pull it off. Guess I was wrong.:ohbrother:
  6. I will whole heartingly agree with you! BG is a dominant powerhouse for southcentral KY!!!yeah I said it...SOUTH CENTRAL KY!!!
  7. Greenwood has built a fine football team, but it seems to me the Purples get the better athletes. AC-S will bring it to them, they are a team to watch this year, with a great deal of speed and a really good head coach.
  8. Wow, did east's cheerleaders play? Great job Purples!!!
  9. Sounds great to me!! I hear you have a really good pizza parlor just off post. Would really enjoy making the trip to post and seeing the area. As far as green, :thumb:!!! They lost tonight to a good Larue squad and I am sure it was one dimensional play. Can't get to the big game unless you are diverse. Remeber thats just my opinion, for what it is worth!
  10. I was talking to a band MOM after the game and was telling her how blowed away we all were after their performance!!! Hats off to the Falcon Band, great job of getting everyone fired up for a really good football game!!!
  11. Wow! Did not expect a pounding like this. It is hard to believe that Danville can possibly have a down season. On a better note I guess it looks better for our region through the playoffs!!
  12. Great job fellow Falcons!!! Its great to get the younger guys in the games and let them learn from a fabulous group above them. Your program is one to be watched and learned from. IMO three is looking pretty good!:thumb:
  13. Great game for the Falcons. Monroe had 3 To's with two fumbles and one interception. I agree with SEMPERFIFALCON about it not becoming a habit and also about a little respect. Monroe has beaten some good ball clubs, Their schedule is not light at no means, first three games on the road all against 3a schools, then home against a 5a. Thats ok though, please everyone overlook these Falcons because when they roll into town you will never forget the night you played them. This is an extremely hard hittng bunch of kids with a rematch with the FC Falcons in their sights!!! Imo some of the Falcons need a heart check to go with the ego check!! I am a proud parent of two Falcons and love them all, I hope Coach P. looks at film and sees where they are lacking...which isn't much but a little fine tuning, and makes his team all they can be just like he always has. Keep on rolling Falcons!!!:thumb:
  14. Thanks Scribe...Love to read about other Ky schools and their accomplishes!!!
  15. I was being sarcastic..sorry! I guess I should keep the DOD jokes to myself.:ohbrother:
  16. I feel green is to much of a power house for Larue. Green is a solid football team, but to go deep this year they will have to find dimension in their offensive scheme. John Stone is a good athlete but is better suited in the defensive backfield. He will have a long night if he tries to throw on a good secondary. I wish Green all the luck, it looks great for our district to have as many teams as possible ranked high.
  17. Bardstown in a nail biter. 21-20 Game the defenses will decide the winner.
  18. Absolutely correct Falconbacker!! They might be able to compete in 1a. That may still be a stretch, not to bash The eagles..just stating an opinion.
  19. I agree with blockbuster on this one. An upset is not out of the question! I would love to see the scotties pull it off and go 4-0 this year after that terrible year they had last.:thumb:
  20. Oh boy. Glasgow coming off a winless season last year has one way to go...up! Coach Wood is doing a great job with the scotties and has earned a 3-0 so far, but I believe that streak is coming to and end this week with a really good Allen Co. Patriot team. This team is for real putting up 97 points in two games with almost half being the second string. The scotties look great and are pretty deep at most positions though, i knew last year that the season they had was a fluke because there was more talent than what was utilized. The scotties jv team last year was pretty stacked and that is really showing this year as they take the leadership role. Patriots by 21, but It will not be given to them at all!!!
  21. McCreary by 21. Wayne just did not have the goods this year like I thought. They returned a lot of players but I feel most peaked last year. I hope the best for the cardinals because we always enjoy playing them, but I Feel they could be in for a long season if they don't find their rhythm.
  22. IMO I believe Corbin is the faster and more agressive team in this one. Corbin, but not by a landslide, 20.
  23. Good win for Corbin, pretty upsetting for the Ads! Looks like the road to state is getting harder and harder for the 2a teams.
