I am very happy for the coach, no matter what he will always pay in his heart knowing he had an athlete pass under his watch. It is a terrible thing when tragedy strikes a program, on and off the field!!

The youth league is the only way to keep a program on top!!! This is like the feeder middle schools in big cities. The youth attend these friday night games and dream of one day playing for their high schoolteam, especially if they have older brothers or family already in the program. So to answer your question on if it is to early...no. The earlier they start this the better Danville football in the lower ranks will become. Boyle is tough and Danville has to play in some big shadows, so hats off to them for trying to break away!!!!

I feel a little redemption is going to be well earned in this one. A season ender for anyone leaves a very bad taste in a programs mouth for many years to come!!!

I am shocked that Wayne is not perfoming better than they are. They are better than what they are showing!!!

I will say this about Green, the Eagles could be in for a very hard and long night! I hate this for them but thats just life in Greensburg.

SemperFiFalcon is absolutely correct! I am very concered with a couple veteran starters and their efforts this year, one being at defensive end. I believe his ego has outgrown his athleticism!! But on a better note some players that have really stepped up their games, like T-mac, Witty, and the Wyatt brothers., it is hard to say anything about their efforts...Huge improvements!!!!!

I would love to also see video of that hit, I heard it was a shot!

Green by a lot. After getting beat by one last week by Larue Green will be on the war path. They will cary that sting with them for a few games, well because its green, need I say more! They are a down and dirty tough team that does not lose well. The community does not allow them much slack so they feed off the FANS! I would not want to be on the field against them this week. The 3-1 scotties host a tough Larue team that beat Green last week by a hair. This is going to be a very good test for coach Wood to see how his scotties match up. I look for a very close game this week again, but I hope Glasgow can pull it off! It is very tough to beat the Scotties at home, the atmosphere is intense for scotty football. 22-20 Glasgow

The (4-0) 2a Falcons are at home this week hosting the (2-2) 4a Logan Co. This should be another chance for the jv players to letter and the freshman to get more playing time. Monroe has all the weapons and logan can't stop them. It will be very hard for logan to score on this extremely hard hitting Monroe team. I look for Coach P. to be very aggresive early to put this away and let his Varsity rest. I don't know but it seems they should be pretty rested though, they usually only play 1/2 of the game!
