Hate to say it, but gut feeling is that he is gone. Sad... He's a nice guy and a really good ball player. Had the potential to get drafted, but if he transfers I don't see that happening. Doubt we'll ever know what the real deal is, but I sure would love to.

I couldn't help myself, so I stayed up playing last night anyways. Who needs sleep or studying? I can honestly say that this COD has blown my expectations out of the water. Granted, they weren't that high to begin with, but it is still a REALLY good game. Very different feel from the previous makes and the game play is smooth. Maps are creative and fun to play on. The graphics are fantastic as well.

Tough call. I've only had a couple hits once when I was wayyyy to drunk for it to even matter. I'd most likely give it a shot and see if I liked it. I know all my friends like it an awful lot. :lol:

Quite a few times. It's a very, very strange feeling. Oddly enough, I've been able to call what happens next because I remembered the dream during the experience. Freaked my friends out a time or two because of it. I have no clue how that works, but it is quite amazing.

Hey Doc, that was really great for me to read at this point in my life. I am still young and so are my parents. I am about to graduate college and begin my career, so I will take this as a reminder to never take my parents for granted and always make time for them. I can only hope that I have no regrets when that time comes. Thanks for sharing.

Happened to me in high school actually. Had a phone stolen by a teammate on the football team. Someone who knew my phone went missing saw him using it a few days later and told coach. Coach let me and a couple other players scare him straight. He stayed on the team, but was punished with harsh conditioning and suspension.

Roommate's girlfriend lived with her a couple of years ago. Being fairly close to that group of people, she believes he was just trying to end things and the girl snapped and killed him. She doesn't believe it was self-defense at all. This is just the opinion of someone who knew the couple quite well.

For comparison... A single Uranium-235 atom is capable of producing 200 MeV. A single carbon atom is capable of producing 4 eV. 200,000,000:1 ratio. That is incredible.

Estimates today indicate 19 years to build a nuclear plant because of all of the regulations, certifications needed, and such. By then, the technology tends to be slightly outdated anyways. I believe nuclear energy can be the answer, we just need to speed the system up. Natural gas won't last. Companies are already feeling the pain from producing it. The reason prices are so cheap right now is because companies are selling it for 1/3 of the price it takes to produce it. That is clearly not sustainable. Either prices will rise, or it will phase out completely. I love natural gas, it's a great product with high energy density and low emissions, but with current technology it is not a sustainable form of energy like coal is.

AMC really knows how to do television. For those who have read the comics, how did the last two seasons compare with the literature? I'm sure it was discussed in depth in the 40+ page thread, but I don't have time to read all of it. :lol:

I've never read the comics, but I am pumped for this season just based on how last season ended. A ninja with pet zombies and a huge manor/fort looking thing? Love it.
