I hope your not insinuating that your Tigers are on a pedestool (sp?).. The Bellevue Tigers give you a run for your money every few years, and on top of that beat you every now and then too... Now I'm not trying to get any arguement started, but both teams deserve approval by all schools IMO. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Bellevue was the like 3rd or 4th smallest football playing school about two years ago...

Okay before everyone rips what I say I do agree Josh Conner would be the best running back, most likely in all the state. BUT Buckler is putting his numbers up (doesn't matter who against) with a quarterback that is throwing for about 200 yds on the year and almost all of that in one game. He is putting up those numbers with a line that is for the most part smaller than all the other running backs in this discussion. So yes if BELLEVUE played the big boys he wouldn't do too much, BUT if Buckler was on Highlands, Boone Countys, or even Beechwoods roster, I'm sure he would put up the numbers, it's just a different game in each of these classes. No matter how he's doing it, or who he's doing it aganst he has the lead in NKY for points scored, and is second in rushing... So again all great running backs, but Buckler is in the same category...

Really as many of the people on here think it matters, for some reason whose on their schedule doesn't matter.. Same thing was said about Dayton last week, last year same thing was said about Beech when Bell played them, but yet they were in the game for just about all of it... Schedule really doesn't mean much in nky at all because of different rivalry games and that matter. Just about everything being equal Bellevue takes this one 25-22 in revenge of last year... Plus maybe Lloyd will like Bellevue's fight song as the opening song of the homecoming dance :dancingpa

If this is true how did Bellevue manage to pull one out against Brossart? Um I think I would take 69 over 10, but because it's so much higher :lol: Great game played by both sides, great atmosphere, clean hard fought game for the most part. Loved the fight song being sang to us after the game. Even better the players sang Happy Birthday to Coach Eckstein :dancingpa I guess Dayton just doesn't have it this year, but they definitly had the talent. Good luck to the rest of your season..

I'm sorry, but I believe at one point Housely was top 5 in almost every statistical category there was for NKY... You can not hate this young man for pursuing bigger oppurtunity at Holmes, especially if he makes the starting line up.

Easy now... Bellevue has always been known to have one of the better conditioned teams in all the land :walk:.... Plus every game this year the Tigers have put up better numbers in the second half, rather than the first. :flame:

These days every game, practice game, even get together games with friends are competetive. It doesn't matter if it's in-season, summer ball, or even fall ball. The boys that play i'm sure care more about winning than the little things. Where I come from a little pick up game can be the talk of the week if its big enough... It's all about competiton like it or not... :fight:

Why don't they have a defensive player of the year? If ukfan doesn't know, does anyone?

Ah yes that is Mr. Robert Allen Berns.. He was a member of that fine senior class from last in which I believe just about all of them made pretty big contributions for not only the entire season, but also in a great playoff win to send Dayton home early, and a great turn-a-round season for Dave Eckstein.. We miss you boys and hope to be able to talk about this senior class next year too!!

It's not like he was throwing fourty or fifty yard bombs. The coaches have figured out the strength to the passing game and it's throwing short and letting their athletes run with it. He had two little dink/screen passes to Thomas Barret that one went for like 70 yards, and another, which was the same play I believe go for about 30 or 40.. The way the offense is expending they are and D coaches nightmare...

There is no way he is a top player.. He might not even be top 5 on his own team. Especially as a junior it would be very tough to consider him in the top 10...

This is not a big suprise to the community as it might be for someone who doesn't follow the football team very well. Bellevue has discovered a quarterbacks coach for Wills.. His name I was told is Tim Atwell, i believe. Haven't heard too much about him, except that he is really bringing this passing game along. My co-workers son says that Coach Eckstein and Coach Atwell spend a very good portion of the practice using eachothers knowledge to come up with adjustments to different plays. If this team develops a passing attack, just wow!.... Good luck Bellevue, every game i've attended this year i've heard the fight song keep it up!!! :dancingpa

You must not know a lot about Bellevue as you think you do. Bellevue blew Brossart out of the water for last year's homecoming win, and won two years before that... It will be close the first half, and if so whoever wins the first 5 minutes of the second half takes the paddle. :fire:

This is sure to be one of the best games of the week. If they come in too over confident they could be in for a very rough night. They need to realize 0-6 means nothing in this game, so if you come in jacked up and have the bullying mentality B-town should take this one by two or so scores... If this is the last year the Tigers play Bracken I would let the JV team play as if it was their game when they get in because my co workers son is on the team and she said Bracken's JV had to cancel, so I'd let the young Tiger cubs at them.. :fight:

Actually it would be the most this year. A real Bellevue fan would know that Babb or Baab (sp?) had a few games in the past two years with multiple touchdowns... :banana:
