Raceland continued to play well and won their 3rd consecutive game this season tonight by defeating GC. Good job to the young Rams.

We have lost 3 consecutive games to District foes. I do not think we should even be spoken about in the same breath as Paintsville until we can beat them.

I can't be 100%, but I do believe only 1 score was on Boyd's number 1's.

I can't make myself pick against the home team. I believe that both teams are essentially equal and both need a win. It's just so hard to win at the Tank as the visiting team.

Russell hasn't scored 15 points in a game to date. Are you sure you want to climb out on this limb? LOL

I think the play calling is the direct result of the inability of the OLine to execute. If they cannot perform on the basic calls, how in the world can TJ open up the playbook and call something else? I agree completely about the slow and worst offensive display I can remember......maybe 1986?

This is the game that will allow us to see how good BC really is. I mean, Russell is not playing well offensively but their defense is lights out. BC seems to be scoring at will and playing pretty good defense. The problem is, BC has played South Point, Lawrence Co & Lewis Co. Which amounts to very little competition. Russell, albeit, not playing to their normal standards still will be the toughest challenge so far.

Russell has to play West Carter and Fleming County in district. Both teams are fast and can score. I'm not sure Russell can keep up with them point wise. Yes, they have some weak teams ahead of them but they could end up a 3 seed in their district if they don't figure out their offensive woes.

Congratulations to Coach Brown and the Comets. Very impressive.

Defensively, Ashland and Greenup both get to the ball well. I think the winner of the game will be the team that finds its offensive identity.

That's a tough one. Ashland has way more speed. Greenup is way more physical. I would love to watch Ashland/Greenup. It will be another Russell/Ashland game. Where do the Tomcats play the Musketeers?

I believe the Orange Crush defense may be making a resurgence.....

Coach Salmons gets all the credit for waking our boys up and getting them rolling last night. He ran uptempo plays and literally pushed our boys into "waking" up. We call it NASCAR.

Congratulations to Coach Grizzle, the Musketeers and the staff in a hard fought victory.

Raceland scored on the opening kickoff and built a 18-6 lead before holding on at the end for a 18-14 win to start the season.
