  1. Way to go Highlands, you all have some great athletes. Don't give up Rebels, we've got alot of season left and can only improve going forward.
  2. It hasn't rained, but I make no guarantees about a dry field, we get ALOT of foggy weather..lol
  3. Rebel Stadium is as big as most average high school stadiums. We tend to have standing room only when playing high profile games (Danville, Lex. Cath. ect). It's a turf field.
  4. Myself, +3 will be there. Everyone have a safe trip to Rebel stadium!
  5. 10 of us are leaving Danville at 3pm to watch the 4A Rebels Defend The Pride!!
  6. Updated Massey Ratings for Ky. http://www.highschoolsports.net/massey/state/Kentucky/Football/Varsity/Boys/2010/
  7. The west has nothing but respect from this Rebel fan. They are more than capable of winning week in and week out. Do I think my Rebels will win? Heck Yes. Do they go down there and expect to get handed the trophy? They better not if they know what's good for them. I think it's going to be some awesome football next Friday night, with a terrific atmosphere. Good luck to both teams on a hard fought, injury free night of football. Play your hearts out cause there's no more "next week".
  8. No need for fists, I think Boyle did that with the scoreboard.
  9. On a side note: I really enjoyed being the underdog last night:clap:

  11. I think this Purple Flash's grapes are still a little sour!
  12. Congrats to ACS. Look forward to playing you guys next week in Bowling Green. Just be sure and play ALL 4 QUARTERS! Isn't that right radkins24?
  13. Boyle had a couple of costly turnovers tonight also, The interception that turned into a Bell TD, and the bad snap that gave Bell the 2 pt safety. I really expected Bell to pick apart Boyles defense with the pass, but it seemed like when they passed, it was a "sling it" and hope for the best type pass play. I'm not saying Bell didn't have some successful passing, but other than the 45yd run by the Davenport kid, I guess I just expected them to run some quick outs like Catholic did last week on us. Again, they played a tough game, but as we were told 2 years ago, turnovers are part of the game.
  14. He had beige coveralls on, he said he knew you (if we were talking about the same person) he heard you and another guy talking and you introduced yourself as purplepride from the website. Do you have a young'n playing school ball? (lil' J) maybe?
  15. I'll be there Purple. I think you talked to my brother at the game tonight, I stayed in the stands at halftime. Anyway, if ACS is a run oriented team, I say the Rebels will definately be favored to bring home #7. By the way, wasn't tonights ride home ALOT better than in '08?
  16. Now I just feel honored that we could update that stat. It definately is a tough place to win (but not impossible)
  17. Congrats to both teams on getting this far in the playoffs. And to my beloved Rebels...way to go down to Log Mountain and check out of "The Hilton" with the win. Good luck next Friday in Bowling Green, bring home #7
  18. Good Luck to both teams. Here's to a hard fought, injury free game tonight. My prediction: Highlands 36 Harlan Co. 14
  19. Good Luck to both Boyle & Bell tonight. Let's all hope for an injury free, hard hitting game. I'm leaving here in a couple of hours, just have to stop and get some hand warmers:-)
