As an impartial observer, the officiating in the entire game of Scott Co vs. Rockcastle Co was some of the worst I've ever seen. However, I have a real problem with the Rock fans booing the Scott Co girls as they left the floor. Boo the officials who were horrible, the KHSAA whom chose the officials, but leave the kids alone. The Scott Co girls had nothing to do with the ineptness of the stripes.

Scott Cromwell resign or get fired? Another good guy gone one way or the other.

Chelsea was a very good player and is a good person, but has she ever coached any type of basketball game? Lex Cath is pretty high profile with, high expectations.

There should definitely be a shot clock. It rewards the defense. I agree with video replay at at least in the region and state tournament. A team I was coaching lost a regional final game, that we would have won had there been replay. Owensboro Catholic lost a state tournament game they would have won if there had been replay. I'm sure the list could go on and on.

The story of my life. Not really. If Franklin can handle MCHS press then they'll have chance. That will enable them to get the ball to the block for the big girl to finish. I think the entire game hinges on how effective MC press is.

Marla Gearhart has had a bigtime D1 ref schedule this yr. She was a GREAT D1 guard that understands the game. A huge advantage over some refs who have never played the game.

If Scott county extends their zone, like Madison Central did, then Southern won't have an answer like they didn't in the district.

Gene Kirk is former head coach at Woodford Co. He coached at Sayre after retirement for a number of years, but resigned two years ago due to some health issues. I hope that Gene is back to good health and can come back to take this job he had an extreme passion for.

There will not be plenty of women's college coaches at this event. This is a dead period and college coaches are not allowed to attend events.

You are obviously very young. Coach High has been a very successful girls coach. First at Whitesburg, then at Montgomery Co.
