The question wasn't asked of me so I didn't want to say. I think I answered the question in my previous post though. Neither of them were forced out, but they weren't going to be happy with the roles that they were going to be given so they are no longer on the team. The next one to go absolutely loves Coach Brannen, but he wants to play too. So he will more than likely look elsewhere.

The transfers are not done.

This is the best post i've read about any of this. The guys who have left were asked what they wanted their role to be. Winning wasn't a part of either of their answers. I hope they find what they're looking for at wherever they end up.

Over 800 Division 1 transfers last season. This isn't anything new. There will be more, too, btw....

1 top 10 recruiting class in the past 8 years. 1 was 107th. 2 Championship game appearances in that same time span.

The insinuation was that NKU was beneath Walter. Only time will tell if that’s the case but, based on his other offers it doesn’t appear most coaches believe that to be true. Walter would be very good in the Horizon.

Other than X, one could argue his best offer was from NKU.

Travis may have ended up doing great at NKU, but as we sit here right now, it looks like it may have worked out best for all involved.

The knock on Carson by bigger schools coming out of high school was they thought he had peaked already. The last two years proved that to be accurate. Is he a legit D1 player, no doubt about it. Was his role at NKU probably going to continue to diminish, probably. I wish him well but he checked out months ago and it showed in his play. His attitude didn’t reflect his benching. His benching was a reflection of his attitude.

Neither of those records is correct.

The talent around Carson has changed drastically. His role would have continued to diminish. This isn't a surprise at all. Carson is at his ceiling now.

I think staying at X is a much bigger option than most are willing to comprehend. Not that hat he won’t leave, but the money CAN get close at X. Times have changed at X, too. They’re not the little school that is amazed by Sweet 16s anymore.

Goodman will know what’s going to happen here before anyone, if you’re following this. Just FYI.

They wrongfully terminated him. They don’t have a choice but to pay him. Said from the very beginning firing him before anything else ever happened was about the most ridiculous move they could’ve made
