That was just how it sounded. You are suggesting he told him not to go to the combine and he went anyway? Either way it seems like a selfish move to miss the biggest game of the season.

Am I missing something? I am confused as to why a coach would let his player miss the district tournament for anything, let alone a football combine.

Did anyone post the reason for all the Bourbon players quitting? Rough season for them. Pendleton Co and Harrison Co should be a good one.

Wasn't being negative. If you see my other post I was merely saying I didnt see a lot of college players on the list. Maybe some D3 players (someone mentioned Monroe to Transy), but I was talking D1. It was a question not a statement.

I see. Prewitt and Bach were the only D1 players out of the region to my knowledge. Who is sending these letters? D1, 2, 3, NAIA?

Who is recruiting those kids? Nice high school players, but I was thinking bigger picture--college.

Read the Herald Leader this morning. Headline of article was “11 from Lafayette sign national letters of intent” and the article mentioned that 4 more are expected to sign this week, that make 15 total, so roughly 70% of the starters on Lafayette's team are headed to college and they can’t win a playoff game? Seems odd.

Only prediction is that it will be a great game. No clue who wins but both teams are having good years.

Perfect scenario for HC. They matchup well against Scott Co. And I would predict Scott will beat Station. Station is a much tougher matchup for HC.

Happy has them playing well, and ready for the postseason.
