First would like to say it was a pleasure to meet and talk to Coach Cody tonight.

This was a game of quarters. Half time was 23-20 GRC. Then GRC went on a scoring spree and had as much as a 16 point lead. End of 3rd quarter was 42-28. GRC was already in early foul trouble and Israel fouls out with 4:25 to go in the 4th, so GRC went to a zone. Paris started bombing the 3's. With 3 minutes to go in the game the score was 54-48.With 47 seconds to go score 61-59. GRC held on down the stretch.

 

Kharmarkis Blanton took a real bad fall in the 4th. He came back in the game late, with a big bandage around his head. Blanton led GRC with 22, Caudill and Sharrock chipped in 15 each.

 

Also would like to say a well fought game by the Paris players. They are now starting 4 Freshmen and 1 Junior. Look out for them next year.

Caught the last 3 mins of the 3rd and all of 4th on the radio. Cards almost let it slip away.

 

I think Paris is really going to be spectacular in the coming years.

Paris had 28 points in quarters 1,2 and 3. Then in the 4th quarter they scored 32 points.....wow. They gave a great effort.

Paris should be dangerous the next few years.

The fourth-quarter rally by Paris, which scored 32 points in the final eight minutes, featured five 3-pointers and a pair of three-point plays on putbacks.

 

Clark scored eight of the first 11 points for an 8-3 advantage, but Paris scored the last four points of the quarter and the first five of the second frame for a 12-8 lead with 6:27 remaining in the first half.

The Cardinals regained the lead with a 10-2 run to make the score 23-17 with less than two minutes remaining in the first half. Clark led 23-20 at the break.

Khamarkis Blanton scored all of Clark's eight points in the first half and led the Cards with 10 points in the opening half. Blanton led Clark with 22 points, followed by Riley Caudill and Luke Sharrock with 15 points each. Caudill drained a clutch trey down the stretch and connected on four shots from range, including two in the third quarter.

Kobe Garrad led the Greyhounds with 12 points in the first half. Garrad scored all seven of his team's points in the first eight minutes and led all scorers with 23 points and was a key part of his team’s late comeback attempt.
