For a guy like Tom Cundy to keep coming back to Bellevue and give the kind of support he does to them is a testament to how special it can be to go to one of the little river schools. To bring his buddy Lee Corso shows Tom is still proud to be a Tiger. Pretty cool event for a small school.

Family moved to Campbell County. My understanding is he fitting in just fine at CCHS. I hear he is actually getting some varsity time at safety as a freshman. Tyler Durham is his name and he will be a D-1 player some day. He is a great kid. Its a shame he had to move but we wish him well as he and his brother and Dad are good people.:thumb:

The Paddle is the traveling trophy between the two schools. It's only in the third year of existence. Dayton won in it's inaugural year then it came to Bellevue last year. I know Bellevue -vs- Dayton is one of the oldest rivalries around. Does anyone know the all time record between the two?

I'm glad you have things to say because I don't believe I said he was a bad football coach. I will leave that for others to say. I said I didn't care for his sideline antics. Take offense if you like just saying what I saw on the sidelines. It is what it is.

Bellevue should win! That being said I think it will be closer than most think. This is one of the oldest rivalry games in the country. Throw the records out the window. If Dayton only wins one game all year it wouldn't shock me if it was this one. Tigers need to stay focused and keep the paddle at Bellevue.

I didn't care for the way he continually jawed at the Bellevue players. Then after hearing and seeing that if you watch him he belittles his own players from the sidelines. At least he doesn't make his team run after the game. I know the guy thought he had a chance to win this one but you have to show a little more class then he did.

As far as the coaching goes I will have to agree with Rhino 74. I heard and saw some things I didn't agree with. The head coaches antics on the sidelines was a little out of control. I'm not going to go into the play calling. Any time you lose a game people are going to question your play calling. Having class is something you can do regardless of winning or losing.

I have to give it to the Brossart fans great enthusiasm. Their team didn't lose for lack of fan support. Nice to see a team get this much support when getting it handed to them in the game.

I think the Bellevue Tigers should be getting some thoughts! Haven't made a deep run in the play offs in a while but this could be the year.

Big difference in conditioning and game time. You prepair in practice. You get better in games. In years past I would agree with getting them out because of the good competiton within our district. Let others play on the rare occasion when you would get way up. This year Beechwood will be faced with the same problem when it comes to district play. Do you leave players in to get playing time or pull them week in and week out after the first quarter? You have your opinion I have mine. Neither is right neither is wrong just different.

5 carries after the first quarter!!!! That alone should tell you the coaches weren't trying to run up the score or pad his numbers.He usually gets 25-30 carries a game. It is a fine line when you need the work and when your blowing a team out as to when you should pull your first team. Should the coaches leave him in the game to get playing time? Should they take him out? Should they give him the ball and say just don't break a long one? He is going to be in some lopsided game to get reps. These are still better looks than what he sees in practice because they are game situation and against varsity kids. Not making excuses but as I have said in other post I think over all the district is down this year. Which means he will be in some lopsided game to get the reps that all players need to get better.

#5, Have you ever played the game? If so then you know there becomes a point where you have to play your guys no matter what the score is. If they go through the next 3 games without playing into the 4th quarter then they will not be in game shape to play Beechwood.

Fishhead, after looking back on our last couple of post, instead of agreeing to disagree we are actually disagreeing that we agree. For the most part! You just jumped over the district opponents and went straight to the top. When Brossart and Walton become the teams I think both have the potential to become this will once again be the best class A district in the State.

Didn't mean to come off so harsh. Just think your post disrespected several district opponents that BB has yet to beat. They have a good situation to build a good program. They just need to take baby steps and build a solid foundation.

Clyde you question my intelligence because I think you are a jealous fan that cant take pride in an accomplishment by your community (NKY) just because you, your boy, or your school didn't participate in this game. There isn't anything wrong with taking a little pride in the accomplishments of another NKY team. Following your train of thought I can only assume your not proud to be an American because that would be something larger than your own little click. You may be right maybe you should question my intelligence because I just don't understand why it has to about you for you to be proud to be associated with it even if it is just by locality.:idunno::confused:
