Berea's field is terrible Madison Southern has a nice stadium.

Allen Countys Lady Invitational of the South is tops.

Yeah there have been many kids live in Madison and somehow end up at Catholic!

Im sorry but when some of these families come out in the paper and say we are moving to play ball somewhere, and we have toured certain facilities, that is simply moving for an athletic purpose.

Got to see 1 day of action and saw most of the teams. I think Franklin County is going to turn some heads this year, they looked very good. Lexington Catholic seemed to be just going through the motions but I think Sanford is a heck of a guard. Madison Central didnt have their big football guy there but they just get it done, a couple good shooters and some quickness. LCA looks pretty solid, I like their bigs. Clark County would look really good then seem to struggle, nice size though. Lincoln was missing some guy, I heard but are well coached and beat Central. A surprise was Madison Southern, they are young and played with everyone beating Lincoln and taking Catholic and Clark to the wire. Watch out for them the next few years. This is taking into account that some teams were probably missing some kids BUT this was my view from what I saw.

I would say you have heard wrong Cunigan does a fine job and if the parents have a problem with him, they sure dont understand anything about basketball, which is a problem at alot of schools! You always have parents who know more than the coach and Madison county has there fare share.

You dont know as much as you think. Cooksey isnt the bad guy he is fullfilling a dream that all asst's work hard to achieve its just that Guy was done wrong and coaches dont deserve that.

Right on colonelfan! The problem is that this was rumored to happen the year before and that Cooksey would take over so there was lots of smoke before the fire thats the problem here.

Why would they go after someone who won't be around long enough to develop anyone? He is just trying to get back into it to get a job knocking some young guy out that wants to build something, guys like this need to give it up.

Give some of the other coaches in that region his players and see what they do with them! Why is it the so called best coaches always have the best talent? Dont give me the excuse that he developed them either they just happen to be very fortunate to have a very good base of players. Take Rick Pitino to Richmond Model and the difference wouldnt be as much as you think.

Heard a rumor that Bowling Greens coach might be getting into administartion after this year. Don't know how true, just what I was told.

I really didnt mean for you guys to compare the environment and all BUT I will say that 5 teams out of the 11th could win the state, if it were the top 16 teams 5 or more would be from the 11th. I almost fell asleep at some games the last two years in Lexington, go watch MC/Dunbar and the semis, there wont be a better environment. The 11th is the best region hands down. If you win the 11th, which is harder then winning the sweet 16, then you could play teams that you could beat by 30, not out of a few regions like 2 and 7 but if Bryan Station wins the 11th for instance, 11 teams couldnt hold them in the state tourney. They have a better chance losing next week than the week following.

region tourney. I bet you wont see better games or teams then what you will see next week in the 11th. Its my opinion that the 11th region is harder to win than the sweet 16!
