  1. If you don't think Campbellsville is physical then you'll be surprised on Friday night. I'm not saying they'll win, but I promise you they'll hit.
  2. Highlands should be #1 without question. Also, Owensboro is still ranked ahead of Christian County when County beat them last week. County's two losses are two Bowling Green and Franklin, TN (5A runner-up last year). They should be ranked a little higher IMO.
  3. Don't start that stuff unless you know specificially that people that play for Highlands live somewhere else. From what I've heard, Highlands has one of the best youth feeder programs in the state and that has been the key to their success. Don't take cheep shots at obviously the best team in Kentucky throuth the season to date.
  4. They can have lower numbers and play up. Highlands has a 3A enrollment and plays 5A. football. Why can't Boyle stay where they are or play up in 5A?
  5. Then why weren't they winning with that talent before he got there?
  6. I think Campbellsville wins by 7...they'll fare much better against schools their size.
  7. I disagree. When you get to a program of this size you encounter a whole host of obsticals and issues that smaller schools never see or have to deal with. Trinity was good, but they weren't dominant until Beatty arrived. His winning percentage has got to be off the charts. Do they have great facilities and resources, yes. Can anybody be as successful as he has been since he arrived, no.
  8. I think you have to heavily weight state titles. I don't care how many wins you have, you need to have the titles to go with it. I think the top of the list would be Beatty, Mueller, Glaser, and Harp.
  9. I think Green wins but it'll be closer than people think. Green 35 Campbellsville 25.
  10. Sorry, I'm taking Campbellsville. If their offense will click and not leave the defense on the field for extended periods of time, I think the Campbellsville Eagles will come out ahead in a close one 25-20.
  11. I'll take the eagles as well. They've taken some lumps early, but it's going to pay off as the season wears on.
  12. I commend Coach Mooney for his actions. No matter what comes from this or what happens in these boys lives, their eternity rests in the hands of the most high God and they can go to bed at night knowing that their salvation is secure. I only hope that I will do the same thing if I'm ever presented with the same opportunity in the future. God bless you coach from a former CU student.
  13. 7- Letcher County Central 5- Ashland Blazer 3- Allen Central 2- Knox Central 1- Southwestern Letcher County Central
  14. Who in their right mind would ever kick to this guy?
  15. I was under the impression that even though he was the OC last year, the Head Coach still called the plays. If so, I don't know that it'll be that big of a loss other than they are running a different style of offense.
  16. Did they recruit him...I didn't know they were even looking for an OC. What kind of offense will he bring, or will it just be a continuation of what they did last year?
  17. So how does the DC at Scott Co. end up the D-line coach at Mercer Co.? It's hardly an upgrade...
  18. What position would he play for UK? It's not going to be running back. Tennessee didn't recruit him to play running back either. He'll be a hybrid fullback/tight end that will get a few carries, few catches, and primarily block. UK doesn't have that type of position in their offense. I really don't see what the big deal is...
  19. Wow, wow, and double wow!!! I feel so bad for the kids for being pulled in so many different directions at both schools. How do the kids at Madisonville react? How do you respect a coach that has told you he wanted to go somewhere else?
  20. It's always tough on staff's until someone hires from within...that will stop the coaching carousel for the year.
