Well, maybe a few, but they were really beginning to play WELL at the end of the season last year and I am hoping they will start well this year. Plus, many of them have grown. The biggest weakness will be at quarterback, but the running game looks good, so we shall see.......

Lincoln County plays Northern MS on Thursday, but heard that their biggest kid (TE/DE) sprained his ankle playing volleyball during his lunch break today, so he probably won't be playing in that game. Lincoln looks to be really good this year, their line is HUGE, they have a really good RB in the Jackson kid. They have games this week vs Northern, Mercer on Saturday, and Rockcastle next Tuesday. So we shall see.......

My unbiased prediction is Lincoln 28, Anderson 7. Go Patriots!:ylsuper:

I think they might want to get Brad Woods from Garrard County - he is a Lincoln grad and his dad is the new super!:banana:

The only scrimmage I see on the schedule is Aug. 22 at Anderson County - the next Friday is the Death Valley Bowl.

I agree; Skyler will definitely be a playmaker this year! That kid plays "smashmouth" :fight: football (and basketball, lol) and I think we will be hearing a lot about him this season.

The receiving corps includes senior tight end Rob Conatser (6-1, 180), and senior Wes Camel (5-9, 165) and newcomer Cody Wills at wide receiver. I keep hearing and reading about this kid's DUNKS - does that make a great basketball player? I mean, yes I know he is 6'6" and that is good, but can he do anything but dunk? And is dunking enough to give up football???:eek:

Well, Coach French will accept nothing less than hard work, period. I'd say that either Mr. Macon works hard for his coach, or Coach will sit him on the bench!

Lincoln, as well, was missing several starters to football and a few others to vacation and injury. I think they only had 6 yesterday, and two were sophomores. They played a good Madison Southern team, who had a kid that hit about everything he shot! (#4):thumb:

No, Keeton, Young, and Ralston were our three graduating starters. Our returning starting juniors (seniors to be) are Spurlin and Edgington. We have some promising sophomores to be for sure, and then further down the line a VERY good class of 2013.

Well, Lincoln could 3-peat but it won't be with Keeton - he graduated! LOL:D

Oh no, never, AJG!! I wanna watch someone else play in those games, lol! We've got to get by that first game and hope we don't get bitten by the upset bug (SW). We almost let them overcome a 20 point deficit a few weeks ago - I'm sure Coach Jackson will make sure our boys are ready to PLAY!!!!
