On paper NDA wins. Anything can happen when these two teams meet. The only 2 meaningful things for this match is #1 It's for a good cause. #2 Bragging rights. I think both coaches would rather win in the 3rd week of October.

UC had to recruit a 2011 setter, Taylor is 2012. I believe she wanted to go there, but they had to fill the need sooner.

Snyder is not going to UC. (undecided)

I believe the Region 8 winner (North Oldham, South Oldham or Oldham Co.) will be in the semi's against Greenwood (Region 4) To all the coaches of the regions in the upper bracket, Good Luck! I hope you make it to the finals. The draw "is what it is". In the future, all people will see is your high schools name with "State Runners-up" behind it. Not an * that says "They got a lucky draw". Goals were set, hard work done, your dreams are within reach.....go make history!!!!

NewCath finished 11th defeating Presentation, Ravenwood (ranked 40th in the nation), and Toledo Notre Dame (ranked in the top 125 in the nation). Lost to Chattahoochee (ranked 13th in the nation) and to a very good St Henry team. Hopefully the state rankings will reflect how good NDA and St Henry really are. Don't know how Ryle did.

I believe Holy Cross beat Beechwood to win the 9th.

NDA is by far the best team in Northern Ky. I'm not surprised they beat Sacred Heart. NCC did play SH tough and did have the lead late in all 3 sets, but, couldn't pull it out. As for a NDA/NCC match-up, the Pandas would be the favorite on paper, but, that's why you play the game.

NCC beat Highlands in the finals 25-15, 25-15. The Thoroughbreds dominated from the start and never looked back. Congrats to all the players who participated in the 10th region tourney. Good luck to the Breds at State!

According to the KHSAA website, Mason Co. will have a volleyball team competing in the 10th Region.

I've heard the new coach will meet with the team after school, so I believe it will be around 3 or 3:30.

NCC is set to announce the new head football coach this afternoon(Tuesday). A newspaper article will be in Wednesday Cincinnati Enquirer. A press conference is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. My speculation is that it will be either Dan Wagner or Eddie Evistan.

I have heard that 3 were intreviewed and we could possibly hear an announcement on Tuesday Feb. 2nd. I'm not at liberty to mention any names.:popcorn:

Not enough numbers to field varsity and JV. With a roster of only 38 players, you don't want to risk injuries to a backup varsity player.

BigDP, I heard a rumor that Mercy will go to the 7th and Dupont Manual to the 6th. Is that what you heard? Is it set in stone? Thanks!

DeSalles' QB is quite an athelete! Runs great.....passes great......punts great...kicks great! If I'm not mistaken, he kicked a 40 yd field goal. He definately was the best player/athelete on the field. You can't miss him and his orange cleats! Congrats to the Colts from this NCC fan. The best team won tonight.

NCC's Chris Kelly probably had close to 200 yrds rushing and freshman running back Dillon Hayes had 100+ yrds rushing.
