paNDA Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 LIVT summary Final Chattahoochie (Ga.) defeated Assumption 27-25, 21-25, 25-19; semifinals -- Assumption defeated Notre Dame 25-20, 25-20, Chattahoochie defeated Sacred Heart 25-17, 20-25, 25-19; quarterfinals -- Assumption defeated Manual 25-10, 25-17, Notre Dame defeated St. Joseph’s 25-17, 23-25, 25-17; Sacred Heart defeated Holy Cross 25-12, 26-24; Chattahoochie defeated Mercy 25-20, 25-20.
bredwinner Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 NewCath finished 11th defeating Presentation, Ravenwood (ranked 40th in the nation), and Toledo Notre Dame (ranked in the top 125 in the nation). Lost to Chattahoochee (ranked 13th in the nation) and to a very good St Henry team. Hopefully the state rankings will reflect how good NDA and St Henry really are. Don't know how Ryle did.
