Why has the Enquirer ignored the 10th region volleyball tournaments both Districts last week and he regional that was concluded last night . There are two I repeat regions represented in Northern Ky not just the 9th . I bet that there will be all sorts of coverage in the paper Sunday for The 9th Region Championship Game .:madman:

I'm thinking the issue is more with volleyball competing against soccer for coverage during districts and regionals than it is 9th region versus 10th region. However, I see your point, I don't recall seeing ANYTHING about the 10th region volleyball tournament in the paper outside the scores. By the way, Congrats to your Breds on their victory last night!!!

 

Is there a way to coordinate the days for the games to be played in order to limit the conflicts between the 9th and 10th regions and volleyball versus soccer? Last night for example, you had St. Henry soccer and St. Henry volleyball both playing at the same time and at the same time as the 10th region volleyball finals!!! I know you can't plan for every scenerio, however.....

 

I'm sure the enquirer only has a certain number of resources that are able to cover High School sports in NKY and when volleyball and soccer play on the same day at the same time it makes it difficult. Just my opinion.

 

Last night you had 9th region volleyball semi finals (no coverage); 9th region girls soccer finals (St. Henry v. Simon Kenton) with coverage and the 10th region volleyball finals (no coverage).

 

Was the 10th region volleyball finals at Harrison County? Do you think that comes in to play, ease and convenience for the enquirer?

 

I wonder if there will be any conflicts Saturday night with NDA v. St. Henry in the 9th region volleyball finals. I'm hoping Marc Hardin gets the call to do the coverage, he does a GREAT job covering High School sports in NKY.

Soccer is more important than Volleyball ? If it was Notre Dame vs St Henry Volleyball vs soccer there would be coverage , and Cythania is not that far away

There was also no coverage of NDA vs Highlands soccer. It's interesting, you will find football articles all week long but very little coverage of all the volleyball and soccer being played. Image how participants of golf, tennis, and swimming feel....practically no coverage.

Can the Enquirer at least call the coach of the winning team to get the high points of the match? It is the regional finals! And it sounds like it was a heck of match between Ryle and NDA and there is nothing in the paper.

This is a shame. For GRC and some of the other 10th Region teams, the Lexington Herald Leader will give almost no coverage to anything that isn't 11th Region related. There was plenty of covereage for all the Lexington teams, but none for the surronding area.

Well from NCC it was Maggie O'Day , Jamie Kohls and tournament MVP Taylor Snyder , from Highlands it was Jenna Thiesen and Ally Fossett from Campbell Co it was Kennedy Berkeley from Nishop Brossart it was Felicity Britt From GRC it was Alicia Montgomery Don't know Harrison , Bourbon, or St Pats reps
