NDA is playing great ball right now. They should be heavy favorites to win the 9th. I think St Henry will give it everything they have, but, hey, you never know! They need to block extremely well against NDA and force the Pandas out of their game plan. Bree Popham and Leslie Shellhaus are they key backrow players for NDA. If they're on their game the Pandas win. NDA in 2, 25-19, 25-18 Lets see how the regional brackets come out. Hopefully St Henry and Notre Dame will be on opposite sides of the bracket.

Highlands' libero had an outstanding match last night. When NCC started their comeback in the first game, she dug everything that came her way. She was the key to Highlands preserving the win in game one. I believe she had 10 digs for the match. It seemed like she had 20! She was everywhere!

The boys volleyball starts in late March and goes til late May. It is not sanctioned by the KHSAA so it is considered a "club" sport. There are a lot of teams in Cincinnati that have boys teams. Elder, St X, and Moeller have great programs and are a must see. For boys volleyball, you can throw fundamentals out the window. It's all about power!

The host will be whoever wins the 36th district. More than likely it will be Montgomory County.

NDA is playing great ball right now. They are by far the best team in NKy and probably should be 2nd or 3rd in the state. This should be a very interesting state tourny. I expect there to be a new state champ this year, other than Assumption. I could be wrong, but, NDA has a legit shot at bringing the title back north.

It looked like he seperated his non throwing shoulder. Not a fact, just a guess. They definately wrapped it like a seperation. It was a classic "get him out before he gets hurt" scenario. NCC was up 16 in the 4th when it happened.

My daughter has played for both NKYVC and Z. TeamZ's fees are all up front(including travel expense for coaches). NKYVC adds travelling expenses throughout the season. When it all said and done, the fees are very similiar.

Notre Dame has not scheduled NCC for years. Coach Wolf (sp) tried this year, but, with the addition of Cooper HS to their conference, they could not add any more games. The best chance for an NCC and NDA showdown would be at either Cincinnati Mercy Fall Classic or the Louisville Invitational Volleyball Tournament. There is also the state tournament. NCC and NDA will scrimmage each other at NDA on August 12th at 6:00.
