What happened in order for the Frankfort player to get ejected? Did he throw a punch? Shove an official? How bad does this effect Frankfort for next week?

Bellevue wins this one! Buckler will rush for 307 this week on about 32 carries. The Tigers will be singing the fight song 5 more times this year!!

My predictions for the semi-finals are Bellevue v. Mayfield and LCA v. Allen Central, with the finals being Bellevue v. Allen Central. Go Tigers!!

Wow!! What a shocker! I honestly thought Dayton would win this game and when I heard they were up 27-9 at the beginning of the 4th, I figured it was over. Great job by Brossart and their coaching staff! It's a great feeling knowing that you live to play another week. I am sure Bellevue fans are hoping for another upset victory!

I think Bellevue will bounce back this week after a tough loss to Beechwood. I think Coach Eckstein uses this week to get the running game back on track for the playoffs. I look for Buckler to a have a pretty impressive game (262 yds.) Bellevue 30 Lloyd 18

Bellevue completely dominated this game, so much that it looked like they decided to work on the practice game against Ludlow. Bellevue's coaching staff used this game as an extended practice to get things on film for Beechwood to prepare for next week. It seems to be a lack of Ludlow fans and their comments on the outcome of this game, especially their biggest fan...

Bellevue = Domination!!

I am positive that Ludlow ran an illegal play because I was at the Bishop Brossart game to see a family friend go through the homecoming ceremony and they ran that play. Its a play were I believe #8 lines up at TE and #5 lines up at OT and both go out on pass routes. I hope in your extensive knowledge of football that you realize that an OT (no matter what the number) if covered up cannot go out on a pass play. I'll give Ludlow credit they sneakiness of the play was good, it obviously fooled the officials, but I am sure Coach Eckstein and his staff would have seen this play on film and are going to warn the officials about it. I have known Dave (Eckstein) for over 15 years and I know that he doesn't let this things get past his staff. Also speculated about a "rematch" in the season is absolutely crazy! I am not even going to argue this point. Again, you keep dwelling on these 3 wins in 6 years (which 50% isn't too bad). However, Ludlow just doesn't have what it takes (outside of Rice and Zach) to beat Bellevue. I've stated the facts and not things that should have, could have, or would have. We'll discuss further, Saturday morning after the results are in about which team has a better program.

I will give you the fact that Ludlow has been competitive with Bellevue the last few years, but let's take into account the entire series record. Bellevue leads the all-time series with 60 wins to Ludlow's 27. That is how dominate Bellevue has been over the years and how dominate they will be over Ludlow Friday night. I am sure Ludlow will come out ready to play (as they typically do). Rice and Stegemoller are also very good players. But, the offensive line for Bellevue will dominate up front and I expect Buckler to rack up at least another 250.

Bellevue's line is the running. Someone has to block to get those yards for Mr. Buckler. Ricky is a great great player and even a better football player than people give him credit for. The argument about Class A is non-sense. The Tigers have played a tough non-district schedule and that line has shown up and not disappointed. :ylsuper:

I think one of their tricks will be their illegal play I saw a couple weeks ago. The play were number 8 and 5 line up as TE and T and both go out on a pass route. I think its kinda bad when in order to gain yards you have to run illegal plays.

Doesn't a field goal mean that Dayton will win be 3 instead of 1? This must be from the same style of teaching that has "principle" instead of "prinicpal" on their school website.:eek:

All this about the coaches yelling to their players to get out of bounds etc, etc. That all goes back to coaching. That is something that should be practiced and coached. Simply put from my earlier post the Mustangs are poorly coached. No one on here can prove me wrong. This was also evident in Brossarts lack of adjustment to Bellevue's offensive shift!

Buckler put up another big game (228yds) and the Bellevue offense continued to roll. Overall great job by Bellevue, Brossart is simply not as good as Bellevue. They were poorly coached...1st and goal inside the 5 with 40+ seconds and a timeout left in the first half and could not get it in! Then they went to the hurry up offense with their first team, while Bellevue had it JV team in on defense. Bellevue will continue to roll the next couple of weeks....Keep the Paddle hanging in those BHS hallways!!

With this whole Buckler thing, I think that most schools like Ludlow, Dayton, Brossart, etc. are just mad that they have had these types of numbers put up on them. Buckler's yards were done with class and out of the spirit of competition. You simply can not tell a kid to stop playing/running/whatever because the other team isn't any good and can't stop you. As far as the Beechwood comparison from last week, I can guarantee you that Buckler would have been out too, if Bellevue would have been up 42-0 at the end of the 1st quarter. Those arguing about the 300 yds that is just crazy. Who cares?? He put up 300 yds, it's really not that big of a deal. I know if I were coaching and if my back can get 300 yds and my team can score 40 or more, then I am going to do so. If the other team gives up these types of numbers then their coaches and players should have prepared better and played smarter football and that my friends is the bottom line. Football is a man's sport and if you can't handle giving up 300 yds rushing then don't play. I hope Coach Eckstein allows Buckler to get 300 against Ludlow and Dayton as well.

This shows the closed minded approach that some people have. This post makes it seem like Bellevue kept Buckler in the whole game just to get 300 yards. When in fact Buckler accomplished that feat with only 17 carries, which 12 came in the first quarter. Sometimes you just can't help it when one team completely dominates the other. I will say that Buckler gets at least 250 this week.:ylsuper:
