Waiting for official stats. I heard he only had 21 carries.:ohbrother::idunno:

The number I saw was 27 carries, but also unofficial. In any event isn't 20 plus carries enough in a seven touchdown win?

In another thread you wondered why Simpson was still in the game with SK up five scores, but from the post above you seem mad that Buckler didn't get more carries in an obvious rout. What gives? :idunno:

Probably because he has a chance to break the career rushing record at Bellevue set by Mike Sutkamp in 1981. I know many on here will say that players shouldnt worry about individual accomplishments and should focus on the team. Buckler is a kid who is a true team player, almost all of his quotes in the paper are solid and he gives props to his line and blocking. With that said, I think it would be a HUGE accomplishment to break that record.

Sutkamps record is like 4,996 I believe. I think at this point Buckler is over the 4000 mark and probably around 900 short with 2 reg season games left and most likely atleast 2 playoff games.

Eckstein did the right thing though in this game. No need to blow a team out anymore than that and if he stays in the game it may have been 64 to 0 and he probably could have gotten 300.

Bellevue completely dominated this game, so much that it looked like they decided to work on the practice game against Ludlow.

Bellevue's coaching staff used this game as an extended practice to get things on film for Beechwood to prepare for next week.

It seems to be a lack of Ludlow fans and their comments on the outcome of this game, especially their biggest fan...

You keep acting like I or other Ludlow fans said that they would win. I mean I did vote for Ludlow in the poll, because in the poll I always just vote for who I want to win. However there is no crow for me to eat here, so you have no crow to be handing out. Not in any of my post did I say that I thought Ludlow would win. When talking to my friends, I have even discussed that this very well could be the outcome of this game. However while on here I was not going to say that, I put what it would take for Ludlow to have a chance to win. Which the stuff I said that Ludlow had to do to have a chance to win was true. I said that they would have to also play their best game of the year to win, which they did not. So please don't be coming on here acting like us Ludlow fans have a bunch of crow to eat, because I know me and most Ludlow fans didn't say that they thought Ludlow would definitely win. We all just posted what Ludlow would have to do to win.

As for the game, congrats to Coach Eckstein and Bellevue on the win. You all have yourselves a great team this year. I have mentioned this before, Bellevue always seems to have good timing. When Bellevue puts together a team that is really good, it usually happens the same year that Beechwood is not your normal Beechwood team. Same thing happened in 2005. Bellevue has good timing for this once again. That is why I have mentioned a few times now that I think Bellevue beats Beechwood in the regular season. However I think Beechwood would beat them though come playoff time like usual.

#5, do you think he would have gotten 200 if he would have played 4 quarters?:idunno:

I think the answer to that question is pretty well self expainatory. Did you see any small print in the deal Papa and I made?:idunno:

Sandman you are getting in on the end of ongoing threads. #5 and I had a bet that if Buckler got 22 carries he would get 200 yards. BTW Buckler didn't play the 4 th quarter at all. So for your info I'm not mad at all that the kid was out of the game when he should be. However was just wondering about our little bet. Maybe next time before you make a comment on a post you could do a little research and get the facts straight. So do you know now?

BTW papa. I'm more than happy to call it even since Eckstein pulled him early.:D
