Can Gallatin County pick off Bellevue this season? That was a big win last season for the Wildcats.

While it looks like Frankfort will have to play 3 tough teams in the first 3 weeks, I am going to go with Frankfort and LCA playing in the Championship.

NO way Bellevue overlooks Gallatin this year. Look for Bellevue to come out strong, pumped up and go up big.

While I would agree that LCA is in the easier side of the bracket, I don't necessary know that that is a good thing. They should walk through the first 4 games then they have to get up for a big game could be tough to do.

This is exactly what LCA just did in the last 5 games of the regular season - they went 4-0(Scores of 200-0) within the District play and then defeated a VERY TOUGH and physical 2a Corbin last Friday nite 41-21.

 

LCA just has to maintain focus one game at a time and keep all players healthy - because in 1A - you are just one injury away from disaster.

My predictions for the semi-finals are Bellevue v. Mayfield and LCA v. Allen Central, with the finals being Bellevue v. Allen Central.

Out West it is going to come down to Mayfield vs Beechwood in a physical battle. This game could take a toll on the winner. I think after the loss Mayfield took in a very hard down pour. They will come out and give 110% each and every play mentaly and physicaly. The winner must play fundamentally almost perfect football. After the beating these two teams put on each other it could be tough in the final game. Mayfield the winner.

 

 

 

In the East I think it's going to come down to LCA and Allen Central. Allen Central has the easiest way to go I believe. But the Regional final is as far as they will get. LCA will take it to them. If they meet it will be a -40 point game.

 

I have LCA and MAYFIELD in the finals. Should be a great game if it falls this way. Always the upsets though. And I hope my team is part of a few of them. Good luck to all.
