Final from Walton

What a great year for brossart !:notworthy:

Wow, I thought for sure Walton would win this one. Great job Mustangs.

Didn't Walton destroy them last year?

Very nice win for Brossart. Confirmation of the progress the team has made this season.

Congrats to the Mustangs on a very good win.

Congrats Brossart on your first District win in school history.

Congrats to the Mustang players. What a difference a year makes!

This result really flips my wig. Both programs are very young, but my perception was that WV was well ahead of BB. Outstanding victory for the Mustangs.

The difference in this game was that one team had Chris Bowman - and the other one didn't.

Mustang, fill us in, I don't know much about BB, who is Bowman?

Chris Bowman is thier RB he had I believe around 209 yards rushing today.

Senior Mustang runningback Chris Bowman was the Mustang workhorse today - over 120 yards in the first half, and scored all three Brossart touchdowns.

Brossart controlled the clock with an effective ground game for most of the game. Walton put together a scoring drive, putting 7 points on the board with 12 seconds remaining in the first half.

Walton threatened when a snap went over our punter's head, but the Mustangs dodged that bullet. They scored their final touchdown with 34seconds to play in the ballgame.

If you havene't been to the new Walton-Verona Athletic Complex, you haven't seen a state-of-the-art Class A facility. It is impressive!

Only half the story. The other half was the domination of the line of scrimage by Bishop.:irked:

Does this guarantee Brossart a playoff game?
