cvb Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Wow, I thought for sure Walton would win this one. Great job Mustangs.
Voice of Reason Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Very nice win for Brossart. Confirmation of the progress the team has made this season.
Eagle 4 Life Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Congrats Brossart on your first District win in school history.
sportsnut859 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Congrats to the Mustang players. What a difference a year makes!
First Musketeer Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 This result really flips my wig. Both programs are very young, but my perception was that WV was well ahead of BB. Outstanding victory for the Mustangs.
Mustang Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 The difference in this game was that one team had Chris Bowman - and the other one didn't.
NEERFAN Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Mustang, fill us in, I don't know much about BB, who is Bowman?
Eagle 4 Life Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Mustang, fill us in, I don't know much about BB, who is Bowman? Chris Bowman is thier RB he had I believe around 209 yards rushing today.
Mustang Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Mustang, fill us in, I don't know much about BB, who is Bowman? Senior Mustang runningback Chris Bowman was the Mustang workhorse today - over 120 yards in the first half, and scored all three Brossart touchdowns. Brossart controlled the clock with an effective ground game for most of the game. Walton put together a scoring drive, putting 7 points on the board with 12 seconds remaining in the first half. Walton threatened when a snap went over our punter's head, but the Mustangs dodged that bullet. They scored their final touchdown with 34seconds to play in the ballgame. If you havene't been to the new Walton-Verona Athletic Complex, you haven't seen a state-of-the-art Class A facility. It is impressive!
The sarge Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 The difference in this game was that one team had Chris Bowman - and the other one didn't. Only half the story. The other half was the domination of the line of scrimage by Bishop.:irked:
rhino74 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) Does this guarantee Brossart a playoff game? Edited October 11, 2009 by Ram Rule 13
