When and is this game and where is it at?

What actually qualifies as being "for real"? I've seen this question asked a couple times about Ludlow's girls' team on here and I want to be sure I clearly understand the terminology before I attempt to respond to those kinds of questions.

1. Just reread my post and never once did I put Ludlow in the 9th region championship. That would be great and all, but I realize it's a long shot. 2. I never said that Ludow was even one of the best teams in the region. I simply implied that their play this season may surprise a few teams and that I am eager to see how Ludlow's season progresses. By the way, while it may still may be wishful thinking, I think a shot at the 9th Region All 'A' championship is much more realistic.

Wins over Newport and Dayton weren't big wins for the program, but I think Ludlow's win over Brossart could be indicative of future successes as they start to matchup against some other top 9th region teams. At least, I'm crossing my fingers that this is the case.

I saw St. Henry's freshman play Ludlow and was really impressed with their team.

The head coach at one of the schools I root for gives a positive spin to the sprinting drill and refers to them as "Champions".

Glad to hear that Ludlow was able to pull off the win. What was the score? Any other stats?

Anybody have a score for this game yet?

The Breds will be tough to beat, but I'm hoping that Ludlow can give them a run for their money. Have the brackets been released yet? I'm not sure when (or if) these two teams would even match up againin the All "A".

Lloyd, I believe, is DII.

A few questions: When and where is the tournament? Who do I contact if I want my school to become involved? Is this for just 8th grade or is there a separate tournament for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades? Thanks in advance for the info!!

Daugherty is a post player. She will definitely make a run at DIII player of the year.

FYI--A. Daugherty did not play volleyball and Ludlow's other injured player, B. Jones, did not play soccer. They had participated in these sports previously, but I think they opted out this year so that they could continue healing. As far as I know, they are good to go now. Having them healthy should make for an interersting season for Ludlow. I am looking forward to seeing them play again.

Yeah. It's funny how that worked out. Too bad it's against NCC. :cry:

What if 10 seniors show up for tryouts? Any idea how that is handled?

For this reason and for this reason only, juniors should be able to play JV. I have, however, heard of other teams implementing a "no junior on JV" policy. This policy makes sense if you have a group of juniors that have not made adequate progress over the previous years even after getting ample JV time. They're not showing progress and they're robbing younger, more talented players of valuable playing time. If that is the case, I think the best thing to do is to make the tough decision to cut them. It will also prevent the awkwardness associated with a senior that has no talent being stuck on the bench. That's not a good situation for anyone (parents, players, coaches) involved.
