24smom Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Just saw this score. Wow! Daughtery from Ludlow held to 2 field goals, finished with 12. Anyone have any info on this one?
shsbballmom Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 It was definitely a nice win by the Scott Lady Eagles. Tibbs the 6'2 freshman center had a great night with at least 20 plus points, probably more than that. The girls played well as a team, and it was a great team effort. Daugherty got into foul trouble.
Andtheheadcoach Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 this score shocks me. Has anyone talked about the frosh from Scott being a top player in the area? I would hope so now that she can put up a triple double against a team that hails 3 six footers...:ylsuper:

Its :scared::scared:
Hamilton Joe Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 I have to admit that although I'm not surprised that Scott won this game but I am surprised by the margin of victory. I spoke to a friend of mine who attended the game and she said that the Tibbs girl was clearly the best player on the floor last night and that she might be the most improved player in NKY. I was told that she has developed a variety of inside moves and has also gotten alot stronger and with only being a freshmen she should have a tremendous career at Scott the next 4 years. It sounds as if the Lady Panthers are still trying to fill the role (ballhandling, assists, steals and on court leadership) that the Wofford girl did for Ludlow the last however many years (4 or 5??, How many years did she start down there). I'm sure that Coach Stamm will find some way to turn this negative into a positive for his troops. Congrats to Coach Klette and her Lady Eagles squad on a good win.
Andtheheadcoach Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Just because your tall that makes you the best player , I can tell some of the guys and gals watching girls basketball have no clue . Its :scared::scared: What I was referring to was a previous post stating that the Ludlow girl was one of the best, if not THE best player in the region. Don't assume others aren't as knowlegeable about the game as yourself. From now on, I'll make sure I clearly note my comments when referring to other posts. Sorry for my uneducated answer about tall players...:laugh:
girlbballplayerdad Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 It was truly a joint effort by the front line of Scott. Tibbs had 20 and 10 Brown had 16 and 10 and a half dozen assist to Tibbs. They both played excellent defense in shared duty on all of Ludlows big girls. This year Scott is going to surprise quite a few teams as they are still beginning to play as a team instead of individuals.
ladiesbballcoach Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 If you do the common opponent thingy, what does this say about Brossart's chances in the district since they lost to Ludlow.
Jim Schue Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Is this score a misprint? Why is the losing team listed first?
24smom Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 Why is the losing team listed first? No reason...slightly shocked by the score & just typed quickly. Thought folks would want to talk about this one right away. I apologize to all the BGP'rs. If a moderator could fix, please do so.
