NDA took control of this game early and coasted. Fern Creek's Grigsby scored some "NBA" distance 3's to make the final score closer at the end. Fern Creek's McCune was clearly frustrated by the Panda defense. Good road win for NDA!

Ryle will continue to improve when they play teams like Colerain. They will be a force come tournament time.

St. Henry will be tough at tournament time. They have the players to be successful. Remember, most of their players just finished soccer 3 weeks ago. They will continue to improve. As for NDA, if the Pandas can limit their turnovers, they will be competitive in every game.

NDA looked really good. St. Henry had an off night. The Crusaders couldn't buy a basket in the first half. Great defense by the Pandas!!

Having seen McAuley play earlier this year in a scrimmage, this score does not surprise me. They are very athletic and well coached. They will be one of the top teams in Cincinnati. It will always be difficult for the NKY teams to compete with the teams across the river.

The biggest problem that I have with this is that if the young lady was with the program Freshman through Junior year. IMO, she should not get cut for the Senior year. Especially if she was rewarded with "most improved JV" award. Makes no sense!!!!

The top soccer players play club (select) soccer. The top high school teams in the State are loaded with select players.

If this is a NKY school, unless it's Ryle or Boone (because of the talent those teams have), it is strange.

Must get that talent from their mother.

I am sure her parents couldn't be more proud!

It is still posssible to play multiple sports in high school and focus on just one in college. There are many basketball players (who also play soccer) in Kentucky who will play basketball or soccer in college. Since most college soccer showcases are played in November and December, these girls can get exposure to college coaches and then concentrate on high school basketball. I am not that familiar with the fast pitch softball schedule. Is it year - around? When is the "club" season?

Play as many sports as you can through high school. You will regret not playing more than playing!
