Pandas able to finally pull away in the 4th quarter. Neither team ever lead by more than 8 points.

Great job by host Mercer County for a well run tourney. It was a shame that they were so apologetic for the referees (or in this case, referee) behavior. The school ran a great tournament.

Moss looked really good in the Northern Exposure tournament.

Ryle beats Tates Creek. Tates Creek beats Nelson County. Nelson County beats Ryle. You gotta love girl's basketball. Ryle will be fine. They are young and very skilled.

A fan was walking up and down the sidelines throwing his hat and screaming at the refs. He was "sort of" intimidating.

Simon Kenton plays aggressive smothering defense. They will have to be prepared to be in foul trouble in games like this. Notre Dame climbed from a 14 point deficit to take the lead in the 4th. Congrats to both teams on a great game.

Why doesn't Cooper play their big girl? I believe she is 6'4". I don't believe she was in the stats. I would think she could at least have made things a little bit tougher for Tibbs.

What happened to Jackie Hafele? What a shame! She has a great future in soccer ahead of her. Hopefully, her injury is not serious. Not slighting the Miller girl, hopefully she will be alright as well.
