Agree with Hot Shot. Can you replace a player like Dumaine? She carried the Camel defense for the past 3 years. Players like that are very rare.

It amazes me that the contributions of a good point guard get overlooked so often. Without Sandlin, Ryle wins the Region.

IMO, Sandlin is the key to Boone County. Great (unselfish) point guards are hard to find.

Game was close all the way through. IMO, Sandlin was the difference.

That's 2 games in a row that Ryle has pulled the game out in the 4th quarter. Good for them for coming alive when it counted most. IMO, the Raiders will have a harder time pulling out this type of win against Boone. Sandlin and Shrout had great games against Notre Dame and experienced guard play is huge this time of year. Good luck to both teams and which ever team wins will proudly repersent the 9th Region down at WKU!

Congrats to Boone County for the win. Congrats to Notre Dame for such a great season! After losing 5 great seniors to graduation, a lot of people thought this team would not be very successful. The fact that the Pandas won District and advanced to the semi-finals of the Regional Tournament says tons about the "wolfpack". Notre Dame is very young and the majority of the starters will have at least 2 more tries to win a state title (NDA doesn't measure success in Regional titles). As always, Great pictures paNDA. One more Congratulations to the Villa Madonna seniors. Especially Kim Schroer. I have watched Kim compete in basketball and soccer for 7 or 8 years and she has displayed nothing but class. After a foul committed by Villa on Monday, she was the first person to hold out her hand and help the NDA player up. Her actions echo the term "Sportsmanship". For the record, I have heard she is quite the golfer also. Good luck to all of these seniors!!!

NDA is very young. They start 2 sophs and 1 freshman. They have been on the floor the entire season. It would be hard to make changes at this point.
