In nice fun game to watch, Notre Dame depth paid off for them by holding on to beat a determine and never say die Villa team.

NDA was leading almost all of the second half by double digits but with about three minutes Villa got to within four, but could never get any closer than that.

Surprising to me at least to see NDA with such a young team on the floor in the fourth quarter with Villa nibbling the lead away but it worked for NDA.

NDA will play Boone County @ 6pm on Friday night at the BOKC.

BTW congrats to the Blue Lighting students and their Mascot, they did an outstanding job of cheering, and rooting on their classmates.

Hopefully Statman will have some stats later for this game and I know that paNDA will have some great shots of the action of both games tonight!

NDA is very young. They start 2 sophs and 1 freshman. They have been on the floor the entire season. It would be hard to make changes at this point.

Congrats to Villa and Coach Shields on a great season. Good luck to NDA.

Panda versus the Blue Lightning man....hey its a start anyway.

When your work is done and it is time to lay down the thing you cheerish so much it is good to have a strong supportive coaching staff nearby.
