No real suprises here. Ryle is returning everyone from last year's 9th Region Runnerup Team with the exception of Scooby Williams. I believe the Notre Dame squad is the sleeper of the Region.

Notre Dame added a very good player with Varsity experience in Elle Ogle.

For NCC to be 3rd they will need to find someone to play the post. Not nessarily to score a lot, but to defend and rebound. St. Henry could be a surprise team, but Ryle will be very difficult to handle.

Move NCC to 5...NDA & SH to 3 & 4.

 

I could see it staying like this, or close, till the end of the season...then the favorite always changes come March

Whens the last time Highlands and Simon Kenton at 9 and 10?

Not much for pre season ranking of teams but this year might just top last years excitement in the 9th region. I can hardly wait to watch it unfold. Walton should also be fun to watch as well. Lots of talent in all classes for the girls programs.

 

Boone gets my nod until someone proves they are better. Champions rights.

Ed Cravens at Campbell County does a very good job and they should be in the top 10.

I know it is a preseason poll and all, but Walton being 6 really surprised me. I might get my fair share of arguements about this, but they should be pretty good.

Holy Cross should be ranked higher as well.
