  3. Try this link then... KY TN Border Bowl, Kentucky Tennessee Border Bowl
  4. That would make more sense to me too. You don't rip out the flooring in an ER when a little blood flies. Just trying to find out if anyone had heard anything about it or not.
  5. I heard from a friend in Northern Kentucky that the Newport High School field was being removed and replaced this week because of MRSA contamination in the surface. Sounds far fetched to me, but I'm not in the medical field either. Anybody know of anything going on with this that could shed some light on it?
  6. What's wrong with pumping his team mates up. They had to triple cover him on most plays and that still didn't always work. Newport did the things they needed to win, no turnovers, but if it bothers you when somebody pancakes someone or slings them to the ground maybe you need to stick to flag football.
  7. Battle tested... Road Warriors... Somerset woke up and found their own after the Danville loss and has been closer to the team they was predicted to be in the pre-season... Healthiest they have been so far this season... NCC, as always, will be very disaplined and very we'll coached, but I feel these Briar Jumpers are on a mission to get to Bowling Green and will escape northern Kentucky with a win... Go Jumpers!
  8. There are a few errors and they are making changes, but here is what they started with.
  9. That stinks. We know how it feels to be with out your starters. Have to tie down those laces and head full steam with what you have. Good luck to everyone.
  10. Jumpers are healthier right now than they have been all season. Still have two starters out but getting better. I look for a good game but I think the Jumpers take this one 28-14.
  11. Jumpers get their first district win of the year.
  12. Somerset wins a close one if still banged up, if healthy they could win by a pretty good margin. Either way if we can get a win that mountain bus ride home may feel just a little bit shorter.
  13. 7 - Ashland 5 - Williamsburg 3 - Hazard 2 - Perry County Central 1 - Allen Central TB - Ashland
  14. 7 Somerset 5 Corbin 3 Morgan County 2 Lawrence County 1 Prestonsburg TB Somerset
  15. Well over 30 and love it... as a matter of fact after reading this I'm having a craving and think I know what I'm having for lunch today!
  16. Currently he is at 6'1.5" (barefoot, heels to the wall) and 290lbs but has been between 285-298lbs all summer. Kagen ran a 5.35 40 at UC this summer and his shuttle time was sub 5.0 as well. His max bench is 400 plus and max squat is 650 plus. He has had a very productive off season going to a dozen or so camps and staying very active in the weight room too. He has of course interest from EKU and UK but also UC, Vandy, Wofford, UL, Centre, and several MAC schools as well.
  17. He looked good from what I saw that day, but to be honest I spent most of my time watching the big men. Kagen Skidmore of Somerset also attended the camp and took the OL MVP award. The camp was very well organized and all of the award winners had pretty good reviews. Kagen Skidmore, OL, Somerset, KY (2014) K. Skidmore - Highlight Videos, Schedule & Roster - Hudl Testing: 6-1/290, 21 Vertical, 23 reps 185 Assets: Skidmore just looks the part of a DI OC/OG with his wide shoulders, barrel chest and powerful two handed punch. He has the size, strength and girth to combat huge interior defensive linemen. No lineman was more brutal during the one-on-ones then Skidmore. He pummeled the competition with quick feet, good knee bend and superior hand placement. He played with extreme aggression that he kept in check throughout the camp. Every defender wanted to challenge Skidmore only to come away beaten and broken. For his spectacular day Skidmore earned OL MVP. Development: This kid has what it takes to play at the DI level. College coaches that alarmed by height are making a huge mistake. They need to throw that out the window. He has superior body structure and is a technician as a pass blocker. I can see his stock rising if he picks the right camps to attend the rest of the summer. Offers: Eastern Kentucky
  18. Agree with the top of this but the bottom... Danville is a big unknown and Middlesboro will be pretty tough this year...
  19. Congrats to Drew! Watched early on during drills and looked spot on. Wasn't announced for the opening invite until they announced his qb MVP.
  20. Anybody going tomorrow? I know Skidmore from Somerset was invited. Who else.
  21. Hear that the "rumor mill" has the new HC as former Somerset Assistant, Lucas Ford.
