Interesting....other than Travis Kelce, what other UC TE is currently on a NFL team. I know they had one drafted 4 or 5 years ago but I don’t think he’s in the league any more. That’s impressive if they have several TE’s in the NFL.

I stopped at UDF on Moock road during lunch yesterday. I heard the mgr tell a lady you may want to get gas as he just got the order to increase from 2.58 to 2.95 at 7:00pm. So I filled up my 26 gallon tank as I had under a 1/4 tank.

I know today, Mr Mayer announced on his twitter feed the Ohio State offer. Not sure about the rest. He had an unofficial visit today.

So this isn’t a state championship, correct? This is the same thing as if BGP sponsored it and it was called the BGP 2A invitational tournament. It’s just a basketball tournament in the middle of the season.

I know when my daughter played 7-8 years ago, she played freshman from 6th grade on. There were only a couple of freshman on the team, everyone else younger. The good freshmen all played JV or varsity. I assume it depends on your school and how many kids they have playing.

My daughter changed schools in the middle of her junior year and she doesn’t even play a sport.

I would bet there are a bunch of Highlands fans who would like to play up to 6A but the KHSAA only allows you to play up on class.

That's why I don't think there would be a tremendous difference between being in 4A or 5A. They are still going to schedule the same teams and come playoff time, there will be a few elite teams whether they are in 4A or 5A. I don't have a dog in the fight so it doesn't make a difference to me. I just don't see much changing going from 5A to 4A.

Do you think they should start scheduling smaller schools like some of the local 6a schools do now? Even if they play in 4A, I would think they would still have basically the same schedule they have now except for the district games. They're still going to schedule the Ryles, Campbell Counties, Simon Kentons of the region. They beat everyone in their district in 5A except for Cov Cath the last 2 years. That's not going to solve anything.

Are these coaches freshman thru varsity? Does each one of these coaches have a responsibility or does Highlands have a lot of hangaround coaches? Is this a normal amount of coaches for programs? It just seems like a lot of coaches to me. I think our team had 5 or 6 coaches.

Maybe if Highlands could go back and schedule Newport, Bellevue, Dayton etc. like the good ol’ days, things could turn around in the Fort.

Sounds like they need someone in charge who doesn’t let parents influence their decision. That is a disaster waiting to happen.

I didn't get the finals this year but I will watch the live streaming on my big screen by connecting a lightning/HDMI adapter from my iPhone to the TV. Works great
