I think Schueller's record is 7'2? He went to Georgia Tech on a track scholarship.

 

Bray may have a shot at that. I believe he won state last year with 6'8" or 9" and was told he did 6'10" last season.

6'3 and long. Playground hops...no fear. He can win some dunk contests I am sure. He may want to take that act on the road.

Eagle, you have to admit it was almost comical as the game wore on (except that last intentional foul which was scary for sure). But beyond that one, if you saw all that drama in a made for TV movie you would call it unbelievable.

I don't think anyone said he tried to do anything. Don't mischaracterize what was said. He was a threatened action. It was beyond classless. I'll agree he played a very good game, but when you tried to put the Halo over him tonight you were simply not privy perhaps to what all the young man stated on the court tonight.

I know Mr. Bray very well and yes he is animated and confident, and like most young men sometimes maturity takes a back seat. I would venture to say that the statements on the court came from both sides. It is rarely one sided when it comes to talking on the court. One thing that I can guarantee is that he gives everything he can on every play and will play his heart out. I have not gotten to see him play this year but this young man gives his all and I would have him on my team any day.

Stepping up to drain the 3 which ended Highlands' run after they tied the score in the 4th was as impressive to me as his dunk. Regarding the extarcurriculars, I thought Bray kept his composure pretty darn well when he was flagrently fouled at the end of the game.

 

Towles was a beast inside and controlled the paint for alot of the game. Lewis was nails from the outside.

I disagree. Except for Bray's play, that 1st half was as ugly a half of basketball that I have witnessed. 19-12 of poorly played ball is not my idea of entertaining.

Actually I believe Bray's ailment was legit at that instance. He had a pretty nasty looking cramp in his calf.

What part of his game was "beast"???? He finished with maybe 9-11 points and a handful of rebounds, got dunked on, and gave up 26 to Bray (although all 26 were not on Towles, but a large majority was), not sure that falls into the "beast-mode" category.

He had 13 pts and 9 of Brays pts were wide open 3's. PT was the stronger of the two but I wouldn't say beast.

I don't like to see it when one player is portrayed as "classy" and the other is portrayed as dirty. I watched the first Lloyd vs Highlands game as saw the "classy PT" intentionally undercut Mr Bray (at least twice) while he was in the air with no intent to do anything but drop him.

 

Both players play very hard and are very competitive. Both players have faults, but so does everyone who walks the earth.

Birds had opportunity but 3 turnovers in last 1:35 killed em.
