Nobody believes you shouldn't show up, your Juggs are very good, BC is just better IMO, but in one game in this region who knows.

That comment always cracks me up. Just because someone doesn't pick a team to win or think a team will win doesn't mean they don't respect the team. I think what Lloyd has put together here at the end of the year is great. And surely you should show up Saturday. No one thought you should up against Dixie in the district title game either, right? Anything can happen. Maybe Saturday is that 1 in who knows how many games that Lloyd beats Boone. It isn't like Boone isn't capable of a dud. Heck, Beechwood almost beat them. I just think Boone is a very well coached, disciplined team that will come out in their machine like precision and get it done. How many layups did they get in their offense against Holmes tonight? They are very good at running their offense and very fundamentally sound.

Boone wins on Saturday for one reason...............5 seniors start and first two off the bench are seniors. Also, guard play is stellar and they close out better than anyone.

 

Great picture but it still doesn't do this dunk justice. He is probably a foot or more lower in this pic than he was when he first caught the ball. When Bray first caught the ball, it looked like his head was above the rim and he took the ball off the top of the backboard. It was unreal how high he got.

Their senior leadership showed tonight. They settled down after the 1st quarter, where they looked really tight, got into their sets and took advantage of the 'dogs denying much to McCreary. You do not want to have them with the lead because they are automatic at the line. They got a little sloppy with the ball midway through the 4th quarter, but the 'dogs can do that to you. McCreary called TO and chewed on them a while and they settled again.

Boone will get at least 5 layup baskets out of their offense versus Lloyd Saturday (unless Bray suddenly swoops in from nowhere and swats them :lol:). That is no knock on Lloyd. That is what Boone does to everyone.

Wow! Glad I got to see Bray. Yeah he was a litlle dramatic, but he single handily won that game last night. On my Birds, well, hopefully undercalssmen work hard to improve. Oh and a question. Did Highlands take any TOs to the locker room?
