Branch drop was a deflected pass that was behind him. Welker "drop" was a bad pass that would have gone down as one of the great catches in Super Bowl history if he makes it. The one by Fernandez was a perfect pass that was dropped. The safety in the end zone was a terrible play by Brady. The long INT intended for Gronkowski should have been a TD but Brady underthrew it (I'll cut him some slack on that one because of the pressure). I just thought Manning made zero mistakes and made the big plays and Brady made mistakes and failed to make the big plays.

You just sort of summarized why this game didn't do it for me.

Wow...I'm going to die 10 years earlier because of these Giants. I'm pretty happy though. Any question whether or not Eli is elite anymore?

Patriots cant attack outside the numbers and limit their chances. Chad makes Aaron ross look bad on his only reception then kick him out of the rest of the game. Makes no sense to me I wanted the Giants to win but really come on man and Eli did out play Brady cause Brady had the one turnover under throwing Gronk. Eli was throwing dimes tonight.

Congrats HB20.

I hope to experience what you're experiencing some time.

Crazy season for NYG fans. They certainly keep it exciting. Great run to end the season.

I'm a big Eli guy.

A tough catch for Welker to make but that has to be made. That is overstating the difficulty level. There were 4-5 as equally as tough or tougher catches in this game alone. That is a play receivers are supposed to make.

Welker and Branch should have made those plays in my opinion, Manningham's catch was tougher than either of those.

Anyone else think the hug between Coughlin and Belichik was uncomfortably odd?

I think the difficulty was understated by the announcers. It was thrown high and behind Welker, he had to stop on a dime, turn 180 degrees, and jump to try and make the finger tip catch. For as open as Welker was, that was a very poor throw by Brady and would have been an great catch.

Agree 100%

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I'll watch video again and let you know if I change my mind. The Branch pass was even more uncatchable than Welker's.

Sure, a great catch. But I would not have given a second thought to it had he hauled it in because you see that degree of difficulty all the time.

Happy to see Woodhead get in the end zone. Like that kid.

No doubt. That was a tough play given the deflection.
