Woke up this morning still in pain.

Congrats to HB and his Giants. They were the better team last night, and deserved the win.

Still can't believe Welker dropped that ball.

Have no clue what Brady was thinking on the safety, or the defense with 12 men on the field.

So many stupid mental mistakes, and a good team like the Giants will eventually make it hurt.

Back to the drawing board.

Bradshaw said this morning that nothing was said in the huddle about not scoring a TD. He said he heard Manning say it to him AS he was handing him the ball. Tough time to be telling your back to do something that goes against instinct.

I would think if not scoring was the plan, they would have had Eli simply take a knee.

After further review, I will agree that the pass to Welker was more catchable than I thought. Still a very difficult catch. However, I still say the fault for that incompletion was 75% bad pass by Brady and 25% the failure to catch it by Welker. That play is reminding me of the Cubs playoff collapse when the fan tried to catch the foul ball. Everyone is blaming the fan and no one is blaming SS Alex Gonzalez who made the error right after that. Brady is getting the Alex Gonzalez coverup on that play. Welker was so wide open is the thing. It isn't like Brady was trying to squeeze the ball in a tight spot.

If he threw it where you wanted him too he would have been killed. I have not heard one person besides you say it was the throw. Every ex receiver I've heard has said perfect throw, receiver has to make that catch 100 out of 100 times. Cris Carter said the back shoulder was to let Welker know there was a defender inside of him but none outside. I tend to agree that the catch has to be made by a pro that practices back shoulder catches every day. It is a tough catch for us regular guys, not Welker.

She has a point.

Irrelevant. Did the receivers' wives talk crap about Tom B after the AFC Championship game? Never good to have a wife/GF talking about other players.

I needed the Giants for financial gains, but I would have loved for them to lose that game b/c they weren't smart enough to run the clock out and take a knee. Mannigham going out of bounds getting the 1st down inside the 10 was just as dumb as scoring the TD.

Agreed. Got lucky to overcome a bad coaching decision.

The two options for NYG were to potentially/likely kick a FG to go up 1 and give Tom B 20 seconds for a FG OR score like they did and give him 57 seconds BUT he needs a TD.

I'm not sure which one is better.

If Mannigham went out of bounds on the first down they would have had zero seconds. There also would have been less than 20 seconds with a squib kick. I know this, NE liked their chances a lot better needing the TD with a minute left or they wouldn't have let them score. I would say kickers hit a 25 yard FG well over a 90% clip. My guess is going 80 yards in a minute is at least a 10% probability with a TO left and Tom Brady leading the way.

They may have. Do the receivers wives look as good as Giselle and have cameras and microphones following them so we can see what they said? She was responding to Giants fans that were taunting her. We all can get emotional after a tough loss that affects us and this was the Super Bowl. I'm sure some of the players may get their feelings hurt about her brutal honesty but she has a point.

If she had held a press conference and said all of that then I would have said she was in the wrong. They caught her responding to taunts while waiting for an elevator. I'll let this emotional encounter pass.

Am I the only one that Bradys wife does nothing for me?

Nope. I am not overly impressed with her. Especially compared to other Brazillian women I have seen. She's way too skinny for my taste.

She has to keep her mouth shut. If she can't handle taunts from other fans she needs to stay in Boston and watch on TV.
