I think the HR (Human Resources, lottoman) storyline is winding down, and therefore they didn't necessarily need this character anymore. (Besides, what's the point of having two cops "in" on it?) We've already seen them integrate Shaw into the storyline, so I think the next big move is for Root to become relevant again. Whether she's escaped, or is working "with" Finch/Reese remains to be seen. But, I see her more as the antagonist in the future.

I'd imagine they show that episode and then be back on in January is what it looks like.
November 27, 201312 yr Tonight's episode was my favorite of all time! The speech by the guy who plays Fosco was an amazing piece of acting. The thing I love about this show most is the richness of the characters and how well they're portrayed by the actors. My favorites (outside of Reese and Finch) are Alias and Root.
