January 4, 201214 yr UK's players look like they are scared to shoot an outside shot. They don't appear comfortable. They hesitate, pass, dribble, pass again, catch--- and then try to force it into a clogged middle!! I believe in attacking the basket, but you still can't be afraid to shoot from outside. Witjer acts like he's scared to death, that if he misses he's going to come out. What was with the UK logos and blue floor? Did they send in a crew to repaint the court, or move the Rupp floor to Freedom Hall?
January 4, 201214 yr This was a bit of a trap game, coming off of a big/emotional game against Louisville and playing what should have been a cup cake game before the start of SEC play on Saturday. UK finally started knocking down shots and playing with some intensity, just frustrating that they couldn't do that early on.
January 4, 201214 yr As I mentioned before they just don't have that good of team chemistry yet, and just real no flow in their offense. They been winning on pure talent alone. This is my least favorite Coach Cal team so far, because they just don't play that well together, and that is something I enjoy watching more than just dunks. They need to get it figured out, if they do want to win a National Title this year. For the record I do think they will get it together though.

I think it just comes down to the fact that this was suppose to be the year UK wins it all, and right now they are not a team IMO that will do that until they develop better chemistry and a better flow on offense. I think people that right now, so it does worry them some. I remember people even last year during the tournament and the final four run saying they are just enjoying it while is last, because the 2011-2012 is the one they can't wait for. This team is very good because they are just so talented, but they are not great yet but they will get there IMO.

I think Cal knows and realizes this too and I trust they he's going to be able to get them to turn it around. I've heard him mention something along these lines in several interviews and he's tweeted a few times about it too.

I don't think either of Coach Cal's first 2 teams had it totally together at this point of the year. Last year they lost 9 games and after the Ole Miss game lots of "fans" wrote them off. There is no reason to be peaking right now. I think that Cal is putting the reigns on this team and causing some internal pressure on purpose to totally get these guys bought in and playing like he wants in March and April. It's going to be fun IMO.
