Is Harlan and B-ville in that top 5?

Are you talking about the state or region?

For the 13th

1. Harlan

2. B-ville

3. Pineville

4. Middlesboro

5. Lynn Camp

6. Cumberland

7. OBI

8. Evarts

9. Williamsburg

10. Red Bird

14th Region

1. Lee County

2. Hazard

3. Jackson City

4. Buckhorn

5. JBS

Any discussion of top Class A teams around the state would have to include University Heights and Trigg County.

UHA and Trigg are in seperate brackets in the 2nd region class "A" state..either of these teams could win the class "A" state. The regional final will give us a great representative in the 2nd. They have to be the favorites. If you doubt them they will make believers out of you!! ;):p

16th

1. Elliott County

2. Fairview

3. West Carter

4. Menifee County

5. Rose Hill

:thumb: I agree with everything except Red Bird and Williamsburg. But does it matter?

You agree with Middlesboro fourth and say Pineville is 20 points better? So you're saying it's a three-team race?

Cumberland, in my book, may be the third or fourth best team in the region in Class A.

Newport should be in that top 5. They already beat Ludlow and would more than likely beat beechwood.

I haven't watched Cumberland yet. So I guess you can move Cumberland up to 4 and make it a 4-team race. No matter what, Middlesboro will have a hard time with the All "A".

My top 2 in the 9th are Holy Cross and NCC the next 3 is a tie between Beechwood,St.Henry, and Newport.

The class "A" region 2 finals is in "(Dawson Springs)Panther Gymnasium" with over 1100 gym capacity. It isn't close to the the biggest venue in the region but it is a small school tourney. The atmosphere there will be electric and it will be the best ticket in the state that night and maybe all year. If Trigg and UHA make it to the regional finals, which I believe they will, it will be a great game in a tightly packed house who could ask for a better senario? If it was played in Rupp where the empty seats would take away from the atmosphere and cheers and jeers would be lost in the steel and concrete how would that be more too anyone's liking? This is what basketball is about the players, the fans, a ball and a hardwood floor.
